Hospitable owners and friendly staff. We've been there twice for delicious fried calamari and fine wine. I recommend this place and will definitely be back.

We've had lunch here several times and have always been extremely satisfied, so much so that we decided to stay the entire afternoon, renting lounge chairs and an umbrella. The fish is incredibly fresh and expertly prepared, the overall atmosphere is convivial and welcoming, and the prices are excellent, even compared to neighboring establishments.

I stopped for lunch with two friends and we had linguine with clams and mixed fried fish. Everything was delicious. The staff was young, friendly, and helpful. I highly recommend it.

08/12/2025: A great discovery!!! My parents and I have been coming to Pescara for years and had a few regular stops... we wanted a change since we didn't have a great experience at one of them, and after talking to some friends, they recommended a new place, and I have to say it was a great discovery! Big Mama is just steps from the Città Sant'Angelo Outlet, where they make the best mugnaia and more! A beautiful location, fantastic staff, very kind and professional, and excellent value! I also really enjoyed the truffle tartare and the carpaccio. Delicious... the pizza was excellent too. Overall, I highly recommend it; it will be a regular stop for quick bites in Pescara!

Vecchia Hosteria Del Lago

31/12/2025: For me, it's the place of my childhood: I used to go there with my parents and grandparents after a few hours of fishing at the nearby dam. Then we'd go for arrosticini: an immense joy. Now I return every time I'm in the area: a riot of memories and the same flavors of yesteryear. Expertly cooked arrosticini, first courses of undisputed quality, and a great sense of humor: Andrea is a hospitable and friendly host.
