Generator Venice In Venezia

Everything was great. The only thing I don't like about it is the location, because you spend 9.50 euros each way or have to buy a 25-euro day ticket. But it really sounds like a good location. The staff is very friendly.

A good hostel, although the rooms are small and there is no hairdryer.

This is a pretty nice hostel - a bit more on the pricy side but it’s located very closer to Venice. You can reach everything by boat - public transportation. The only problem was that there were plenty of bed bugs in my bed which I discovered the next morning.

Great accommodation at a great price, especially if you are traveling alone.

The price is reasonable, the location is good, and the staff are very friendly. The rooms are generally clean and comfortable, but the downside is that the air conditioning doesn't reach the upper bunks of the dormitory, making it hot and humid.

Mixed feelings about Generator. The lobby being fantastically clean and modern, featuring board games, guitars, and even a PS5 for FIFA. There were many restaurants and cafes nearby serving good food overlooking the lagoon and provided beautiful sunset views. The ferry was also a 2 minute walk away. Unfortunately the bathrooms always stunk and the showers had mould growing along the tiles, not to mention it's a shared bathroom amongst the entire floor and the shower door was partially see-through (had to hang my towel over it so people couldn't see through). The rooms were packed, and we struggled to walk through to get to our beds, especially if someone was accessing their locker which was underneath the beds. The bunk beds also had a huge gap to the wall because there were pillars that made it impossible to make the beds fit flush to the wall. However for the price and location it was acceptable, but many simple things could have improved the quality of our stay significantly.
