Generator Venice In Venezia

It was truly beautiful, very clean, everything luxurious. I really slept very well. It has excellent security and the staff was very attentive. The owner was very kind to me. If I go back to Venice, I will definitely choose them again.

Very well located and easily accessible 👌🏼 While it does have dormitory-style rooms, shared showers, and common areas, it doesn't quite capture the atmosphere of a typical youth hostel. Specifically, you can't eat outside food, and there's no fridge, microwave, or kettle available… you have to buy their food and drinks or eat out, which doesn't really fit with the hostel experience.

I had a lovely stay at generator is such a nice place for the price they charged ! And in in Venice ! The staff is very kind and polite they are very welcoming, the place is beautiful you get to see all Venice from a quiet and peaceful island and the hostel is very cosy and warm, is accesible by the maritime public transport all day all night 24h desk and food services the rooms are cosy and nice clean and with beautiful views, the only thing I would add is curtains for more privacy in the beds. this place worths each coin, never doubt of booking !!

Splendid location overlooking the canal with San Marco opposite (we stayed in a spacious double room with a private bathroom). New, well-renovated building, lovely indoor relaxation area with bar, tables, and sofas, board games, and books available to read. Downsides: terrible breakfast with industrial-strength croissants and undrinkable coffee, and only one towel per person in the room.

There is no better location, it's directly across the Grande canal from San Marco square. Three desk is manned 24/7. The front doors are never locked. Fellow guests are well behaved, it felt like a library in the common areas. Bring a padlock for your unnerved storage. Caffe service starts at 7 am. Small bathrooms need an upgrade. Very old condition. Thank you Generator.

We stayed in a mixed room for 5 or 7 people. The rooms were generally small, and we had to take turns unpacking our luggage. The rooms with attached bathrooms were quite small, but we did have access to a shared bathroom outside, which was a bit larger. The elevator was also a nice touch. The front desk was manned 24 hours a day, so when we returned from a night out in Venice, we knocked on the door and they would answer. Giucadia Island is in a great location, overlooking St. Mark's Square across the street, and the boat ride to the other side was quick.

Even just for the view, it would already get 10 points!! I'd also add that the staff was very friendly and helpful, and as a hostel, I'd say it's clean, quiet, and well-maintained.

Beautiful decor on the ground floor in the bar. I loved the decor of our double room with a beamed ceiling, a double shower and the view of Venice.

Everything was great. The only thing I don't like about it is the location, because you spend 9.50 euros each way or have to buy a 25-euro day ticket. But it really sounds like a good location. The staff is very friendly.

A good hostel, although the rooms are small and there is no hairdryer.
