I knew about this place thanks to the influencer Baffetto Food, and a few days ago, having to choose where to have a quick and tasty dinner near the sea with a couple of friends, the first place that came to mind was Gemavvi!
What can I say other than that the quality of the food is very high, that both the baguettes and the flatbreads are generously stuffed, that the service is excellent (smiles and availability to go go) and the location, despite the wind that evening, welcoming and clean !
And the veal meatballs with pistachio cream? indescribable!
The baked potatoes are also excellent, one leads to another!
Recommended, indeed highly recommended, especially for small groups (3/4 people max).

There were 8 of us and although the place was full, the staff managed to seat us in less than 20 minutes. Quick service and excellent products. Definitely worth trying again

I've been to this place several times over the years and I have to say it just gets better and better. We ordered several things from the menu (some devoured so quickly that I couldn't take a photo) and none of them left us dissatisfied.
If you go on summer weekends, book and try to arrive early because finding parking is hell.

In my opinion everything is good and the sandwiches are plentiful, very well seasoned with the right mix of flavours. Unfortunately there are few seats and sometimes there can be little availability.
Anyway, Saturday dinner for 8 was a great success.

Days of fire, evening desire for coolness by the sea. We come up with an idea, but bad luck or luck, call it what you like, offers us a way out. Some people think it could be a fallback, but intuition does not betray us. A butchery by the sea. The name comes to mind and the time of the recall denotes a presence in the area that has allowed the activity to overcome the Hamlet-like boundary of "to be or not to be". The location is pleasant, both the refreshed internal room and the external space. The welcome is smiling and already puts us at ease. We deceived the wait with some baked potatoes in a cheese and pepper version and some home-made focaccia served hot with artisanal mortadella on top, the aroma and flavor of which were amplified by the heat of the focaccia. To enjoy a portion of Culatello di Zibello from the lower Parma area, simply presented laid out and sliced thinly, as it should be served, to better capture the marbling of its red meat and release its penetrating aroma. Followed by a Germanic digression with Berlin sausage, grilled sauerkraut and delicious old-fashioned mustard, granular on the palate, with a stronger taste and a baked shank placed on a nest of rigorously baked potatoes. Returning to the theme of local carbohydrates, some flatbreads with Tuscan coppa, artichokes, rocket, parmesan flakes and the scent of lime. We would have even gotten to dessert, but a photo that stands out inside the restaurant made us opt for a last inviting taste that represents a combination of flavors between Puglia, Lombardy and Emilia. The multi-grain baguette, not on the menu, with sweet, soft and spreadable gorgonzola spoonful, raw ham with a balanced flavor and sliced fiorone, whose seasonality is an invitation not to miss the opportunity to taste it as a whole, before having to wait for the next cycle of nature. If, in addition to eating, you want to satisfy the curiosities that arise from the sight and the palate, don't begrudge the owner questions. You will be satisfied without a hitch.
In short, to be fair, Gemavvì is a pork butchery that would find its worthy place in the hinterland as well as on the sea due to the passion in the search for raw materials and the accuracy of the offer.

A differenza delle altre volte in cui ci deliziavano degli ottimi panini profumati e croccanti, questa volta abbiamo voluto rischiare con gli straccetti di funghi...DIVINI!!
Se poi come condimento ci mettete anche la simpatia e cordialità delle ragazze e dei ragazzi che ci hanno servito, ne esci bella e soddisfatta come non mai.
