Whenever I pass through these parts, I can't help but stop at the historic Petrini gelateria, always the
Best in Rome. It's worth traveling a few kilometers to appreciate its excellence.

I've been frequenting this gelateria forever: it's historic and has stood out for its gelato. Unfortunately, in recent years, it's fallen into disrepair. Some of the staff (not all) often appear listless and rushed, resulting in sloppy service.
Lately, for example, I asked for cream on my gelato and they put a ridiculous amount on it, just a thin strip, so much so that you could see the gelato underneath. When I politely (but a little shocked) asked for more, even offering to pay for it, their tone became surly, and they only added a little, but still the minimum.
It's a shame, because the prices have gone up and the portions are smaller than in the past. I hate to say it, but this gelateria isn't what it used to be.

Historic ice cream shop in the neighborhood. Equidistant from the A Ponte Lungo and Furio Camillo metro stops. Absolutely recommended.
Just one consideration, there are tables outside but completely in the sun, if there were umbrellas, it would be better..for the rest everything is good.

Gelateria storica del quartiere. Gelato strepitoso. Zabaione da urlo. Quasi impossibile parcheggiare. Fuori tre forse quattro tavolini. E' una gelato "da passeggio". Ho messo quattro stelle e non cinque perché i tavolini sono sempre sporchi e il personale non è proprio il massimo della simpatia. Dettagli. Il gelato è il migliore di sempre.
