I went to this place, 60 kilometers away, because I'd been watching their videos on TikTok for too long... and what can I say? IT'S WORTH IT. I got 5 flavors, each one better than the last. You absolutely have to try the pistachio creamy (or cremolato, I can't remember the exact name) and Kinder egg, which is the best I've ever eaten (I get it at all the ice cream shops, but this one stands out because it has some chopped pieces inside). The Mr. Nico and salted caramel are also delicious. If you love chocolate like me, you'll also find "sopra dell'ovetto" which is like Nutella, but white. The girl is super kind and helpful, it's a pleasure to find people like that while they work. I ate two whole cups alone and they captivated me, I'll be back to try more.

Gelato di qualità ma purtroppo si trattengono molto con le quantità sia del gelato che della panna nonostante si parta da un costo del cono piccolo di 2,5€, quando ti porgono il gelato non si ha la Sensazione di un bel gelato abbondante neanche con i coni più grandi!! Peccato perché alla qualità dovrebbe seguire anche un po’ di generosità nelle quantità visto anche il costo non basso!! Questo invoglierebbe a tornare!!

Umami - Trattoria Giapponese

28/08/2025: I've been frequenting this place for over a year and a half now, and I felt it was my duty to leave a review. I'm not a big fan of Japanese restaurants in Rome: too often, the sushi is "trendy" and there's little attention to the ingredients. Umami was the exception: the fish was always fresh, the dishes were carefully prepared, and the prices were fair. Service was fast and friendly; thanks to Davide for his courtesy and professionalism.
25/08/2025: This is the second time my partner and I have enjoyed a wonderful dinner, made not only by the top-quality food but also by the always attentive and helpful staff. I should also add that this is where my partner recently proposed to me, and what can I say? From the owner who kindly took a surprise video of us to the waitress who was ready with music in the background and slightly dimmed lighting, Umami demonstrates quality and attentiveness even in love! I highly recommend it, not only for the impeccable gastronomic experience (and I'm quite demanding in that regard), but for the setting itself, from the atmosphere to the staff, which make it so much more than just a night out.

20/07/2025: Returning to Up Ristorante Enoteca in Velletri after about two years was a very pleasant surprise. I'd been frequenting the place after dinner since 2015. Well... returning was better than I remembered. The place is becoming more and more refined, year after year. You can see a constant improvement in the attention to detail and the elegance of the atmosphere. The welcome was warm from the first moment: they escorted us to the aperitif area and served us bubbles with homemade appetizers, including breadsticks and a freshly baked focaccia—delicious! A gesture that really struck me was the staff physically opening the menu for you and handing it to you: it's a rare touch these days, but it conveys a sincere care for the guest. The same goes for the bubbles or even the water: they serve it to you, opening the bottle at the table and pouring the first glass for everyone at the table. Details, yes... but they say so much. The table was set with taste and attention: a simple but clean table setting, and a third chair to put bags or coats. A rare touch that I greatly appreciated. We ordered an appetizer and a first course: the service was very quick, and the dishes were generous and of high quality. You could really tell the ingredients were carefully selected. The staff is competent, kind, and attentive. There's a rare continuity, because many of the staff have been working there for years, and you can sense how much they care. They're ready to listen to any feedback and welcome you with a smile. We didn't order dessert just because we were full... but we'll definitely be back for that too!
