It was my favorite ice cream shop. The ice cream is still very good, unfortunately in the last year I have noticed an increase in price (even if not excessive) but the thing that has upset me the most is the notable decrease in the doses. In my opinion, marketing and advertising choices inevitably affect the cost of the product.

Tonight I went into La Romana with a crazy desire for ice cream and the still fresh memory of another time, when, even though I had it “large”, my little heart (and especially my belly) was disappointed.
But then… Valentina arrived.
With kindness, professionalism and that touch of humanity that makes the difference, she prepared me an ice cream finally worthy of being called “large”.
She definitely understood my desire: the cone was generous, good to die for and it perfectly satisfied that desire that had tormented me for hours.
Valentina made me change my mind, my belly is happy, me even more.

A must-see when we are passing through the center of Padua.
Excellent ice cream shop both for the quality of the ice cream and for the service.
The idea of a melted chocolate heart in the cone is very nice and always appreciated and the whipped cream is almost always free!
I definitely recommend it!
A bit of a queue at any time but it's worth it!

Delicious gelato with really friendly staff - who helped with suggestions when one of the flavours we initially picked was unavailable- it was amazing. Salted caramel and cherry with chocolate were our favourites.

A lot of people recommended this place to me, saying that it is the best ice cream shop in Padua, so I decided to try it too.
I took a small cone (two flavors) and paid 3.50 euros (honest). In addition to the ice cream you can add pistachio or chocolate cream at the bottom of the cone, cream on top of the ice cream and a biscuit. I really appreciated this service.
The ice cream was very good, I don't know if it's the best in Padua, but I recommend it

Sono un affezionato frequentatore delle sedi della gelateria La Romana in Italia. Essendo tornato a Padova, non potevo esimermi dal passaggio nel punto vendita vicino a Prato della Valle. A livello di qualità si va sul sicuro. La cosa che mi ha fatto piacere oggi è stata la gentilezza e la simpatia di Iole (mi pare di aver letto questo nome). non solo è riuscito senza problemi e servirmi il gelato grande ma ha messo quel di più di cortesia e simpatia che ben si sposa con il prodotto. Bravi e Brava Iole!
