Gelateria Inferno Freddo Mazzini In Casale monferrato

I've been going to Jesolo for over 40 years and remember Zio Berto from a completely different time. Back then, the kiosk was located up on the meadow next to the Hotel Cambridge and the old Villa Elsa. The parents ran it with great passion, and later their son took over and transformed the beach kiosk into a true institution. For many regulars, a visit there was simply part of every holiday. That's why I regret the changes of recent years so much. Since the next generation took over, I unfortunately no longer find the atmosphere to be what once defined the Italian dolce vita for me. The staff often seem arrogant, the music is very loud, the prices have risen significantly, and the seating has become cramped and uncomfortable. This is, of course, just my personal opinion. But as a long-time regular, I find it particularly sad when a place with so much history and wonderful memories loses its original charm. It's a shame about a little Jesolo legend.
