Gelateria Friso In Padova

Having returned to this ice cream shop after years and years of absence from Padua (almost 30!) I found the same extraordinary quality and taste! The stracciatella (which I loved) has remained the same as it used to be, with large pieces of chocolate inside (and not with sprinkles as done in many other ice cream shops). Despite being lactose intolerant I didn't have any problems: I found the ice creams extremely digestible. If you find yourself in Padua, in the Basilica of Sant'Antonio area, you can't help but treat yourself to an ice cream break at Friso!!

Friendly service, the ice cream is delicious. Even late at night, young and old stop here for an ice cream, big or small.

We came across it on a sunny day in December! A nice discovery, the lady who served us was very kind and friendly. The ice creams are really good, I recommend the pistachio and bacio flavors! The portions are right (not small) and the price is €3.50 for 2 scoops in a cone. I must say that the location is excellent, right behind the Basilica del Santo.
