I've known this place for a couple of years now and it has never disappointed me... delicious ice creams and granitas, I recommend the place when you want something tasty. Very good (il Calimero), good prices and fast service.

I have known this ice cream shop for years, it offers many products and all of them are good, I recommend you try.... Ice cream dipped in melted chocolate a delight, I got coconut and pistachio very good. My son took a Calimero, a riot of goodness.

Nice place with lots of places to sit and enjoy ice creams, granitas, etc. I took an almond and chocolate cup but the granita didn't satisfy me, I've tried better ones! For the rest everything is ok.

13/08/2024: We were there a few times when most of the restaurants were closed. Absolutely homely local Italian/Sicilian atmosphere of a simple family trattoria with cheap homemade very tasty food, the same Sicilian dishes as from your aunt/grandmother. The service almost does not speak English, but you can get along anyway. Everything delicious and for the center of Catania - surprisingly cheap! If you like a real home atmosphere, where no one plays for anything, but cooks and feeds their guests well, I definitely recommend visiting and enjoying it. You probably won't find lunch for 4 people with water and wine under 60 euros anywhere else in the center

Pasticceria Ficarra Luigi

22/06/2024: Pasticceria e tavola calda a pochi passi da via Etnea e dal centro di Catania. Una piacevolissima sorpresa, la signora che ci ha servito molto gentile e cortese, il bancone sia dei dolci che della rosticceria molto invitante. Alla fine abbiamo optato per una granita con brioche e siamo stati pienamente soddisfatti. La granita pistacchio e mandorla top!
08/04/2024: last day in Sicily that we went to Pasticceria Luigi Ficarra to try about cannoli and casatelle. fair price and tasty. good to try
