The best ice cream I've ever had! I would return to Pisa just to try blackberry ice cream again.
They make completely artisanal ice cream and the flavors vary depending on the season.
The place is very simple, it is not a place to stay, it is much better to eat outside by the river.

as everyone knows, Italy is famous for producing the best gelato, but the ones here - from a small ice cream parlor in the center of Pisa - are truly unique.
there is no permanent offer of flavors, they change, but there is great diversity. the proposals are interesting and unusual. There are 3 portion sizes, we ordered the smallest one, but it was still big!
an additional advantage is the location - the ice cream parlor is located right next to the iconic Caffè dell'Ussero.
all these factors make this place a must see on the map of Pisa!

The pear and peppercorn and the macadamia were big hits. They also sell ground coffee and having just made it can report that it is very good too.
Easy to find parking if you are on a motorbike.

De’ Coltelli is undoubtedly the best ice cream place in Pisa. Their artisanal approach, using natural ingredients, delivers an unforgettable gelato experience. Each flavor is rich and authentic, with a perfect creamy texture. We tried the Saffron and Guava flavour and they were just delicious. Highly recommended for anyone in Pisa, Must visit !

Apart from some different and unusual flavors, I found the gelato to be quite underwhelming and not worth the hype. However, the mango mint flavor was enjoyable!

Gelato con gusti davvero ottimi e anche particolari (l’anacardo ad esempio). Ottimo dark chocolate. L’attività non abbia bisogno di presentazioni. Prezzi alti purtroppo ma sono comunque ben esposti. Ottimo se siete vegani anche!
Gestione dei molti clienti (turisti e “locali”) efficace (nell’insieme) e all’altezza.

Il gelato. Poche le gelaterie che ti regalano una esperienza simile ed io cerco di scovarle ovunque vada. Gelato un pò caro ma vale il viaggio.
