Visiting Bologna after many years of life in Australia (I'm from Veneto anyway). First thing I asked was for zabaglione (or zabajone) because I have never found it in Australia. This one is the best I've had in a long time, but referring to this trip is better than the 2 I had in Rovigo (those were very good as well though). Very strong egg taste, which is the idea of ​​this flavour, but also extremely creamy, zero ice crystals. Had also watermelon, and bought some to take home. Catalan cream flavor is amazing, never had before, creamy as well but I don't really know how to describe. When I have time I will try to add the review in Italian. Best eggnog I've tasted in many, many years anyway. Excellent service (there was only me at closing time) and a nice chat about ice creams, flavors and more. I'll try to stop by 2 more times before leaving, I'm not in Italy to lose weight anyway!

Costa 39 is a guarantee, it converts to fruit flavours, which naturally amplify the sweetness of plums, peaches and other strictly seasonal fruit. For cream die-hards, however, pistachio (with its natural beige color that turns slightly green) remains the prince of flavours. The perfect ice cream!
