The best gelato in Florence. I love all the gelato from this shop, but the Caminia pistachio and the Atomico are so good! The strawberry one is also top-notch.

We ended up here by chance on Friday evening. The gelato was good, with a wide selection, even though it's January. Everything was so inviting. The flavors were excellent, and the service was patient and courteous, even though it was late at night. 🍦

Caminia deserves it because it's in the Gavinana neighborhood (or enjoy it if you live here). The flavor of these ice creams is truly delicate, not too sugary, and some flavors are so creative! Tale: Ettore: White chocolate and puffed rice Settimo gelo (rice cooked in milk with sugar, almonds, citron, and amaretto) Festina lente: milk, eggs, cream, ginger root, and candied citrus fruits. My favorite flavor, when available, is pine nuts.

Highly recommended are the Caminia and Dubai Chocolate flavors! Very true to the original. We were impressed by the sweetness and helpfulness of the lady who served us. A lovely, authentic, and high-quality ice cream shop. Quality Very good ❤️

It's located in the heart of an industrial area and is also quite convenient for parking compared to the city center. It's busier on weekends, so reservations are recommended. The staff are always friendly and the owner is very nice, which never hurts. Updated October 2025. Tokyo is always a guarantee for me. Fast and friendly staff, smiling and welcoming owner. The lunch menu is a bit limited, but the quality is above average compared to similar places nearby. The new decor is similar, but it's proof that they've put a lot of thought into that, too. Updated December 2025 - always a guarantee, for my tastes and budget. Less choice at lunchtime, but still enjoyable!
