10/11/2024: Una delle più quotate antiche osterie toscane, tipica negli arredi di sala, gradi frigoriferi a vista per la frollatura della carne, must in ogni osteria che si rispetti Grande entrée con crostini di lardo e tartufo bianco, buonissimi e gustosi, poi primi e secondi: peposo con purea di patate, molto buona la carne, tenera e delicata nel gusto, si sentiva bene il vino, meno il pepe, ottimo il purè, poi tagliate di manzo al sangue, ottima la cottura, buone nel gusto, la pasta al sugo di cinghiale molto buona, buoni i ravioli con ragù di carne Anche i dessert non sono stati da meno, eccellente la torta di mele, tipo tarte tatin, molto gustosa, meno la croccantezza della sfoglia, leggermente agée, che la rendeva meno leggera e lasciava in bocca un sapore di andato Cortese e goliardico il servizio che ci ha fatto assaggiare un altro vino lasciato da un altro tavolo Complimenti!

08/07/2024: This is our 12th time in Tuscany. We love it. This is one of the unexpected finds. We were looking for a great restaurant to have a last lunch on our way from Tuscany to Bologna airport. Andreas the manager of the amazing Villa Sassolini suggested this place as one of his favourite. How fortunate we are to found this place outside Florence with a parking close by so convenient to reach. owner as well as Danielle the person that served us were breathtaking good. The best presentation of tartar making i have seen up to now. Danielle opened a very good wine to serve the two glasses we want nut when decided to upgrade to Brunello he also opened that too for us The desserts where the best of the trip. Dont miss the apple pie - don’t be fulled by the apple pit description its divine.
