Long lines for very little. The dark chocolate was good, but the pistachio and rufus (white chocolate) tasted absolutely nothing. Prices were getting higher and higher.

Very nice ice cream shop in Piazza Santa Caterina. The ice cream is very good and homemade. The girl who served us was very kind, I recommend it 😋

While strolling through Pisa, we came across Gelateria Rufus in a quiet spot across from a park, a true hidden gem. Inside, we found a well-curated selection of flavors, both milk- and water-based. What I particularly appreciated was the flexibility in portioning: you can mix three flavors in one cup, regardless of the size you choose. Naturally, I took full advantage and tried five different flavors in total. All of them were delicious, but the standout was without question the chocolate, incredibly creamy, rich, and full of flavor. An absolute favorite and a must-try if you’re nearby. Highly recommended.

03/01/2026: We stumbled upon it by chance while we were there on vacation. It's a simple and welcoming place. The schiacciate are really good with excellent combinations. The quality/price ratio is absolutely excellent, and I highly recommend it for anyone looking for something juicy and quick!
