After waiting for the seasonal opening, I wanted to treat myself to an experience in what is considered by many to be one of the best ice cream shops in Pordenone. Even ChatGPT, upon specific request, listed it among the best ice cream makers in the city.
I approached the place and the refrigerated counter with a sky-high hype, already anticipating the cold delicacies created, with pride, by hand.
I tend to emphasize that the opinions I will express are entirely personal.
I arrive in the late afternoon of a Saturday in March, so with the day coming to an end.
I notice that alongside the classic flavors in the tubs, particularly delicious flavors are on display with unusual, almost bold combinations (I don't want to use the overused gourmand). I let myself be fascinated by the thrill of the unusual, by the avant-garde combos and I ask for a cup with three of these.
To tell the truth, apart from the associated names, the appearance of the product, in general, did not seem great to me: they seemed not very creamy and with the typical wrinkles from very low storage temperatures ...
And a thrill of the unusual it was ...
Unfortunately, even the palate confirmed what was noted behind the glass of the counter: very cold ice cream, almost frozen, and, this serving temperature, did not help the tasting experience.
I noticed, strangely, that the flavors, usually bland and knocked down by the very cold, were also there but were not characterized by a lack of naturalness.
They were very pronounced, some perhaps even too exalted, and I believe, not very balanced.
They seemed like many soloists disconnected from each other and not very harmonious. Instead, good music is harmony ...
In fact, once the tasting was finished, the taste buds asked for mercy and, subsequently, the sensation of thirst was perceived very markedly. Usually it happens when the sugar content is too high. Usually, I say, I don't know if this is the case...
I would have personally preferred a more pronounced creaminess and, in general, a greater creaminess: the experience would have benefited in terms of satisfaction.
The cream had a good consistency and did not separate until the end of the tasting: the only flaw, in my personal taste, was a little too much tending towards the sugary flavor.
So overall, but I'm certainly wrong, it was a disappointing experience, given the reputation and good reputation of the place. I must have stumbled upon one of the rare bad days: mine or the ice cream maker's? I'll give the benefit of the doubt.
I remind you that these are merely personal opinions that should not in any way affect the quality of the work expressed over time by this renowned ice cream shop...

Locale compatto ma con tutto il necessario. Esso offre oltre alla classiche coppette e coni propone anche dei semifreddi allo yogurt. I gusti oltre a quelli classici hanno una bella varietà di proposte diverse e con frutta di stagione. Personalmente abbiamo trovato interessante il gelato alla zucca, e rinfrescante i gusti biscotto, kiwi insieme alla mela e il godurioso gianduia con wafer. Le porzione erano giuste da non storpiare al palato. Personale cordiale e gentile; quindi se si è in zona bisogna fare una capatina.

Compact place but with everything you need. In addition to the classic cups and cones, it also offers yogurt parfaits. The flavors in addition to the classic ones have a nice variety of different proposals and with seasonal fruit. Personally we found the pumpkin ice cream interesting, and the biscuit, kiwi and apple flavors and the delicious gianduia with wafers refreshing. The portions were just right so as not to distort the palate. Friendly and kind staff; so if you are in the area you need to stop by.

La Gelateria Cavour, justo al lado del Corso Vittorio Emanuele II, sirve una enorme selección de excelentes helados caseros. Un brillante ejemplo del helado tradicional italiano. No me creas, pruébalo tú mismo. Enjoy. Una calificación recta de 5 puntos.
