Gelateria Alba In Caserta

I tried it for the first time a few days ago, it was delicious, the Cuban flavor is my favorite 😻

They make truly delicious ice cream here; I recommend the mint and licorice ones, which are very hard to find and are truly delicious.

The gelato is truly excellent, no complaints there: creamy, well-balanced in flavor, and you can taste the quality ingredients. I tried the hazelnut and pistachio—both intense, rounded, with a velvety texture that melts in your mouth without being too sweet or cloying. The fruit flavors are also worth a mention: fresh, vibrant, and seem to be made with freshly cut fruit. The checkout experience is a shame. The gentleman at the cash register has a decidedly unfriendly attitude, almost annoyed by the mere presence of customers. He treats you superficially, doesn't look you in the eye, doesn't even respond to a "good morning" or "thank you." It feels like you're being in the way, as if you're in the way. And that's a shame, because in a place where they work so well with the product, you'd expect a slightly more humane welcome. In short: I'd return for the gelato, but I'd hope not to encounter the same annoyed look at the cash register every time.

Excellent quality ice cream. The only flaw is that if you go with a child and they want three flavors, you have to get the large cone.
