After 4 different cones I think I can say that the ice cream is mostly really excellent.

Alaska's summer ice cream is a must, though it's a shame that parking in the area is a bit tricky. The flavors are varied and delicious, and this ice cream shop is highly recommended.

The location is a bit uncomfortable, as is positioning yourself to eat because the interior is very small. The ice cream is very good and there are always many flavors, even unusual ones to find elsewhere.

Excellent artisanal ice cream. Prices not exactly cheap

I was recently at Gelateria Alaska in Rome, and I have to say it was a real discovery! It was a warm summer evening and, after a walk with friends, we decided to stop for an ice cream... the choice was never more appropriate! The place is simple but well-kept, with a family atmosphere that makes you feel immediately at ease. The staff was very kind, ready to offer samples and to recommend with a smile the most popular flavors of the day. I chose hazelnut and pistachio, two classic flavors, but here they have something extra: creamy, intense, you can taste that the ingredients are quality. My friends were also enthusiastic - some had fruit flavors, some dark chocolate... everyone was satisfied. A note of merit also goes to the fresh whipped cream, soft and light, as if it were made on the spot. In short, a little corner of goodness in the heart of Rome. I will definitely return, perhaps to try other flavors... even if it will be difficult to give up the pistachio, truly superb!
