Gelatario In Roma

Looking for a quality ice cream shop, I happened to be passing through the Centocelle/Cinecittà area and hit the nail on the head; it's now one of my favorites in the capital! The owners are incredibly kind, the gelato is artisanal, the cream is delicate, and the wafer-thin cone is crispy. I recommend it to anyone visiting Rome 🤗

I'm a fan of artisanal gelato (I live in Veneto). Passing through Rome's Centocelle neighborhood for work some time ago, I discovered in this gelateria "the expert craftsmanship," combined with innovative flavors and fresh, delicious flavors (the raw ingredients make the difference). All this is complemented by a pleasant atmosphere and friendly, cheerful management. Every time I'm in Rome, I can't help but take the metro to the Numidio Quadrato stop and enjoy an excellent gelato!

Not far from Cinecittà, a true Oscar-winning gelato: creamy, flavorful but not cloying, and easy to digest, a testament to the authenticity of the ingredients. Many original flavors alongside the great traditional classics, even those with lactose intolerance will find something to please. The ice cream sticks, cookies, granitas, and popsicles are also exceptional. So, not just in the summer, but every day, the winner is... Gelatario!!!!

Il Gelatario is one of those places where you go "just for one gelato" and end up trying three. The place is simple, well-kept, without unnecessary frills. Here, the flavors speak for themselves. The gelato is creamy, full-bodied, and bold. No fake flavors, no sugars just to cover it up. The pistachio is dense and rounded, the stracciatella has that crunchy bite that makes you want to go back to the spoon, and the fruit flavors are so fresh they seem freshly picked. The staff is quick but welcoming. They let you taste, listen, and guide you without forcing. They know what they're doing, and it shows. The portions are generous, the prices fair for the quality you take away. In short: Il Gelatario is the right place when you want gelato made well, without compromise. Perfect for a quick break, for a stroll, or to satisfy a real craving.

Excellent gelato with quality ingredients in a nice, clean setting with friendly, helpful staff. Definitely worth a try.
