Quaint square on the waterfront. Small gelateria with truly special gelato. Danilo is a truly skilled ice cream maker, kind and generous with the portions. Each flavor is made with fresh ingredients and the flavor is truly distinctive. I highly recommend it.

I'm updating my previous review below to CONFIRM that Gelamor's gelato is truly delicious. Stracciatella, apricot, pear, hazelnut... always delicious, with a genuine flavor and not overly sweet, perfect! I also tried the beer flavor not long ago... what can I say?!? I could have had a pint of beer gelato! The artisanal cream is also delicate, delicious, fluffy, and not cloyingly sweet. Another positive note: gelatos start at €2.50, thankfully, a rarity in Ostia these days! The creativity in creating original gelato flavors and the passion for the craft are evident in the dozens and dozens of options, including regular and vegan creams, vegan fruit, creamy desserts, and chocolates. Worthy of note are the Zabaione San Marzano, like drinking a glass of Borsci San Marzano liqueur; the Fior di Strudel, delicate yet conveying the classic Tyrolean flavor; the stracciatella with excellent fiordilatte and fine crunchy pieces of dark chocolate; the hazelnut, bold but not saccharine or heavy; and not to mention the pear, which feels like biting right off the branch... and then you almost sip the Arabica coffee flavor. And these are just a few of the approximately 30 flavors currently available. Truly gelato heaven, my love! The owner-clerk-gelato maker is a very kind man who welcomes you with a smile and is happy to explain his gelato creations. Preparation and professionalism are evident in their choices, and the refinement of their creations, which also characterizes the atmosphere, is the icing on the cake that makes you say: I absolutely must return soon to try three more exceptional gelato flavors. One of the best culinary experiences I've ever had! In addition to the exceptional quality and impeccable service, you can taste that the gelateria uses only fresh, organic ingredients.
