Habitual at the Col del Lys for short motorbike rides, we finally decided to come there by car with the family not for a ride on the beautiful roads but to have lunch at Gaute la nata. Synthesis. We ate very well. Fabulous platter of cured meats and cheeses, pappardelle with porcini mushrooms and exciting sausage (homemade puff pastry), delicious breaded porcini mushrooms. To finish, a very good and particular ricotta dessert. All ingredients of the highest quality. Owner and chef (the same person) very kind and helpful. And nice. Guests were more than satisfied. We will definitely be back

Don't expect polenta and wild boar, it's not a simple trattoria but a restaurant with an interesting menu . Excellent service. The portions are generous.

It could have been 5 stars but: We have been coming here for many years, we came last week and we noticed improvements in the outdoor area, the facade having been repainted, new tablecloths, tables, menus, flowers, cleanliness and order in the deckchair area at the entrance to the restaurant, etc. and we were really pleased Prices are normal but the portions of pasta could be a little more generous. Paying 2e for a coffee seems a little excessive to me. Now I don't know if it was a mistake but the price isn't marked on the menu, because I wanted to double check to be sure. When serving cheese and cured meat platters it would be right to explain what you are eating. In my opinion it would be more appreciated. If one takes appetizers, first courses, second courses and wine, perhaps a local liqueur or a discount can be offered This is intended to be a constructive and not disparaging review. When I eat badly and they serve me badly I don't even write, I don't go there anymore and that's it. Per sfuggire all'afa di Torino prenotiamo in questa oasi di pace e di fresco. La trota affumicata è particolare il burro ,gustosissimo, spalmato sul pane regala ricordi della nonna , ma sono i funghi fritti il piatto forte della serata, croccanti, saporiti, non unti. Il seirass abbinato a dei biscotti croccanti con una mousse di fragole addolcisce un conto da 44 euro a testa per una cena innaffiata da un bianco fresco della casa La cordialità è di casa in questo locale con un bel terrazzo dove di sera ad Agosto è meglio portarsi una felpa

Delicious mid-August menu! genuine ingredients. I particularly appreciated the tender and delicious roast veal!!! I highly recommend it. The cool climate of the Col del Lys also contributed to making us spend a pleasant day, far from the heat of the city. Excellent quality/price ratio.
