Excellent restaurant, as evidenced by its constant occupancy. It is a little noisier, caused by the larger number of guests. We have been here several times and always enjoyed ourselves. After the fact, I would recommend making a reservation.

Excellent choice. The food is very good and the portions are generous. The waiters are very friendly and the food doesn't take long to arrive, even though they have busy hours. I found the price quite reasonable considering the quality of the service and food.

I recommend this restaurant especially to those who want to enjoy a fabulous and hearty paella (reservations required). They also offer excellent seafood dishes, such as tagliolini with lobster or salmon steak. As for meat dishes, I definitely recommend the traditional Milanese veal cutlet. The fillet steak, the chef's tartare, and the Florentine steak are also very good. For those who prefer pizza, the ones on the menu are very tasty. They also offer a wide selection of Italian wines and good draft beer. The prices are certainly in line with the high quality of the ingredients. The staff is highly qualified and attentive. I highly recommend this restaurant!

I must say I was very skeptical given the price of the full menu, but instead I was pleasantly surprised: excellent cuisine, fast and friendly service, and a great price. As a Sicilian, I appreciate good Sicilian cuisine.

I've been going to Gauguin for many years, at least two or three times a month. I like it, the people are friendly, and the food is quite good. It's certainly not a trendy place, but that doesn't matter to me.

A pleasant evening at the Gauguin Restaurant, a lively venue where background noise is part of the story and the kitchen plays a more convincing role than expected. The peppered mussels arrive steaming hot and fragrant: meaty mollusks, perfectly cooked, aromatic broth... it's a shame the salt is a bit heavy, which detracts from the balance of a dish that could have truly shone.
The fried fish is a pleasant surprise: dry, crispy, and well-balanced in batter. The calamari is tender, the prawns retain that natural sweetness that doesn't lie, and everything arrives still hot, which isn't always a given when the dining room is full.
The real star, however, is the paella, the house specialty. Rich in composition and generous in portions, the rice is well-saturated with its broth and has a balanced aroma that rivals that of certain "Hispanic" restaurants. Shrimp, mussels, clams, vegetables: every bite speaks of careful craftsmanship and a time-tested recipe.
A sweet finale with a classic tiramisu and an intense, creamy, almost opulent pistachio cheesecake. Not for everyone, but decidedly well-made.
The service was friendly and hurried—the dining room was packed—but always smiling. The bill was fair. An ideal place for families and groups of friends, less so for those seeking intimacy, but perfect if you want a tasty, hearty, and sincere dinner.
