An unexpected and beautiful discovery. I happened upon Gauche Caviar on a pouring rainy evening: I was on my scooter, soaked, and looking for a quick shelter. I pulled up under their awning and, to my surprise, the owner—without hesitation—invited me to stay, even extending the awning to make me more comfortable and sheltered. A simple, yet rare, gesture. From there, a wonderful experience began: a pleasant chat, a leisurely amaro sipped in good company, and a meeting with the owners, a husband and wife team—welcoming, authentic people who make you feel immediately "at home." Exactly how they want every guest to feel. Gauche Caviar is much more than a bar: it's a place that exudes care, kindness, and genuine relationships. A discovery I'll never forget, and one I'll certainly return to—perhaps for a proper cocktail and aperitivo, this time more calmly, and without the rain.

A little corner of paradise in the heart of the city. Excellent staff, soft but well-chosen music, excellent for an aperitif or a delicious after-dinner cocktail.

We happened upon it by chance some time ago and now we return every time we are in Milan! The place is very well cared for in every detail: lights, books, paintings, furnishings and jazz music create a perfect atmosphere where you can drink high quality wines and cocktails, accompanied by a simple but very tasty savoury proposal. The owners are very friendly and competent and are always ready to chat with customers between one service and another. A rare and refined place that is definitely worth a visit.
