Still one of the best authentic Japanese in town

The service was friendly and the environment was relaxing, ideal for a quiet dinner. However, the food absolutely did not meet expectations regarding the price: the dishes tasted rather plain, similar to what you could easily get at home. An experience that absolutely does not justify the final bill.

Very Japanese place with minimal furnishings and beautiful colors that don't get tired. The staff is courteous and helpful. We went for dinner so I didn't try a few things I wanted to try but I will be back for lunch. For starters we had stewed pork with ginger and stewed baby octopus, as main courses a gyudon rice with thinly sliced ​​beef and ginger, a katsusando divided in two, a very good curry raisu, a fried chicken and I had a yuzu chiffon cake. Everything was good except the gyudon which was a little tasteless. The portions of some dishes are small so you will probably take multiple dishes. Accompanied by two unpronounceable Japanese beers. I recommend booking for both lunch and dinner. Closed on Sunday and Monday for lunch. It is located in the center behind Piazza Sant'Alessandro.

Ristorante e gastronomia giapponese. Il locale è molto semplice ma carino e curato. Abbiamo cenato un sabato sera e tutti i piatti erano ottimi, spesa non eccessiva. Il personale è molto gentile. Consigliato per mangiare cucina giapponese tradizionale.

Yamamoto ofrece excelente y auténtica comida japonesa con un servicio cálido y profesional. Cada plato que comimos era delicioso. Nos encantó especialmente el Guy Don y el Chicken Nanban. El restaurante íntimo es ligero y ventilado, y justo fuera del cuadrángulo dorado turístico.
