Japanese food is famous for its low cost, but despite how accessible and delicious the food is, it's disproportionately priced. I wouldn't recommend it.

A warm and friendly welcome, you'll feel at ease as soon as you walk in the door. The wonderful Alexandra looked after us throughout the meal, answering our questions thoroughly and providing detailed information about the dishes, which is a real plus if you have allergies.
Don't expect sushi and sashimi; here you'll eat authentic Japanese cuisine, family-style. The Japanese curry was a wonderful discovery, more delicate than Indian curry, which perfectly enhances the dishes. Each course was a pleasant surprise for us, and we enjoyed a wonderful journey of flavors. Make sure to reserve a table, otherwise it will be difficult to find a table. You'll have a more than adequate one-hour session, as the service is fast. Prices are higher than an all-you-can-eat option, but the quality of the products is significantly superior and worth the price. Plus, you won't pay the cover charge, which is a common occurrence in Italian restaurants and pizzerias, and it's truly unfortunate. We recommend the amazing fish curry dish, a truly delicious one-pot meal. There's also a wide selection of vegetarian and vegan options. Exceptional panna cotta, delicate and delicious. Everything on the tray you'll be served is carefully and harmoniously arranged, a feast for the eyes as well as the palate. Bravo!

We discovered it purely by chance and were planning a trip to Japan. We decided to try something traditional, and we were truly satisfied! Delicious, plentiful dishes, and the welcoming staff were available to explain both the dishes and Japanese traditions! All in a quiet, welcoming atmosphere. We'll definitely be back!

If you want an exceptional lunch in the heart of Milan, Yamamoto is a must-try.
I've been wanting to go there for a while, and it was worth the wait.
The onigiri were perfect, especially the one with Japanese red basil: sensational. The mackerel was exceptional, truly top-notch. The salmon was delicious, fresh, and flavorful. The miso soup was perfect, hot, and super comforting.
The fried chicken was perhaps a little heavy, but still tasty. The Japanese potato salad was recommended, but not a must-try.
The atmosphere was top-notch, elegant yet relaxed, a real pleasure. The service? Impeccable. Friendly, kind, and professional.
10 out of 10, I'll definitely be back.

A very welcoming place with little Miyazaki touches for those who know how to spot them :) The food is delicious, and you leave feeling like you've eaten something truly healthy. I loved the pumpkin, so much so that I asked for seconds, as well as the out-of-this-world sesame dip and the excellent eel rice dish. I'll definitely be back!

We felt like we were at a Japanese grandmother's house: both the food, which was comforting and delicious, and the service, which was characterized by unparalleled attention and friendliness. I tried the tasting menu with pairing sake, a perfect choice, but I'd love to return to try the other dishes. One of my new favorite places in Milan.
