True flavors with authentic ingredients. Hard to find such a refined eel in Europe and rice was cooked perfectly.
You feel it’s cooked with know how and intention. A very very good spot for real Japanese food in Milan.

I visited Gastronomia Yamamoto in Milan and had a very pleasant experience. The place is small, welcoming, and has a quiet atmosphere, perfect for a casual yet refined dinner. I highly recommend the appetizers, such as the Japanese potato salad, fried eggplant, and hijiki seaweed stew: they are fresh, flavorful, and well-balanced. An excellent choice for those seeking authentic and genuine flavors in a cozy and refined setting. Superb service!

We went for dinner as a couple without a reservation, and luckily, we found a table—though it's always a good idea to book just to be safe. The place is very well-kept, clean, and welcoming; the staff is very kind and attentive. The food is truly excellent: fresh, quality ingredients, with dishes faithful to Japanese tradition. The prices are fair for what's on offer. I'll definitely be back!

A wonderful selection of traditional dishes paired with stories that explain their inclusion on the menu.
Fast, courteous, and authentic service, and a beautiful location.
The food was good, but perhaps I would have expected slightly more pronounced flavors. I'll be back to try other dishes.

I went with my husband today to get some takeout. The food is really delicious and super fresh. I've been to Japan and it truly was the original taste of Japanese cuisine, but the price is really high for the amount of food we received. I hope the portions are a little larger if you eat in.

Fantastic! Delicious home-style Japanese food! Excellent staff!
In questo ristorante-gastronomia l’atmosfera è magnifica: il personale è super gentile e disponibile; il cibo è incredibilmente buono e, quando è ora di andare, non desideri altro che programmare il tuo ritorno.
Io ho ordinato un piatto fuori menù composto da pesce al sale, zuppa di miso, riso e broccoli.
Inoltre, ho preso un onigiri al tonno e maionese.
Ho bevuto dell’ottimo sakè fatto con le olive.
Anche i dolci sono stupendi, ogni giorno cambiano. Io ho preso dei fantastici mochi.
Vi consiglio di provare questo posto per sentirvi coccolati e fare un viaggio gastronomico indimenticabile!
