Unbelievable food and flavour from a friendly host. On a Monday lunchtime when many other places were closed, we were met with a warm welcome. The owner didn't have a menu but made some suggestions: we had a pistachio pesto pasta, a dressed salad and a plate of ribs to share between 5. Everything was delicious, but the ribs in particular were sublime and had been cooked sous vide for four hours, then cooked in wine for several more hours. The service was great and the prices extremely reasonable. You must visit if you are in the area.

I would like to point out straight away that it is not just a delicatessen, but it is also a trattoria-pizzeria, with outdoor tables too, located in a lovely little square and in an adorable alley, to say the least, embellished in Sicilian style. The evening menu varies. Last night, Saturday, we enjoyed pasta with meat sauce, enriched by the presence of fried aubergines, and plated kebab, with a side salad and various sauces. There is the possibility of eating it in the traditional version, inside the classic piadina. The meat, chicken and turkey, is entirely prepared by the very friendly owners of the restaurant. Instead of bread, an excellent "old woman's face" focaccia, which remained soft even the next day. And finally, a wonderful strawberry and peach ice cream, rigorously prepared with real fruit, without flavorings or colourings, and a taste of fig and mulberry granita, nothing short of sublime. To crown this delicious dinner, a nice chat with the owners, who are so friendly and approachable. Needless to say, we will be back soon, perhaps after having booked the rabbit on the (wood-fired) rotisserie a few days before...

Einfaches aber sehr leckeres Essen. Wir bekamen ein gegrilltes Hühnchen und Pommes. Richtig sizilianische Stimmung, nette Besienung.
