We ate here for lunch one day and dinner another day. There doesn't seem to be a set menu. For lunch there was pesto pasta and ragu pasta with duck. It was delicious. And then the next day we ate dinner, and we had a mushroom and sausage spaghetti, and then sous vide ribs that were cooked with beer / wine, along with French fries and a balsamic salad. Everything was delicious and Carmelo, the chef / family owner, is incredibly friendly and seems incredibly passionate and proud of his cooking. The dining area is really well curated and everyone is super polite. We will definitely be eating here again the next time we're in town

Carmelo is an excellent chef. We ate here two times and the hospitality, ambiance, service, and of course food was amazing. I had one of the best ribs in my life. They are sous vide in wine/beer. They also gave us complementary bread/veggies which were also amazing. My BF had the mushroom sausage pasta, as well as the Ragu pasta. I also had pesto pasta another time. Everything was amazing :-)

Fantastic food. Lunch (pasta and chicory) was so good, we came again for dinner (pizza and ribs). Lunch is limited offering of special pastas and primi/meat dish, which changes daily. Dinner is pizza and pasta/primi specials. The owner and chef Carmello is a wonderful host. Highly recommend if in Castiglione di Sicilia.

Beautiful location, food on one side and restaurant on the other. We had two delicious eggplant pizzas accompanied by a magnificent Etna red! Highly recommended.

We had Ribs and 2 different Pizzas and everything was really tasty. The ambient is typical italian and made us feel like locals. Don,t expect a 5* tourist restaurant! But who is looking for great food, fair price, nice people and a original sicilian restaurant, don’tthink twice and go there!

A fantastic restaurant serving regional cuisine. Although the menu is short, the skill with which the dishes are prepared is indescribable. This is a must-visit place – I highly recommend it!

We arrived today to visit this small village recommended by a friend, and we noticed this trattoria in an alley. Intrigued by the slightly vintage sign, we asked if we could eat there, and the girl who welcomed us was simply extraordinary. A true Sicilian, we ordered the menu of the day, a delicious, spicy chicken with salad and potatoes, and I also ordered grilled vegetables. What can I say? Compliments to these guys (from the chef and everyone involved), a family-run establishment. Giving it five stars is an understatement. Highly recommended.
