We were there in the off-season and it was great :) we received a very friendly welcome and were able to enjoy a great liver dumpling soup in a great ambience.

The shared rooms were very clean and there were plenty of places to put and hang up your hiking gear. The food was disappointing for us. Goulash was dry and the rolls for breakfast were probably from the day before. The view was really outstanding, as you can read in the other reviews.

Very nicely located restaurant. You should definitely make a stop when you are on the mountain. Delicious food and the service is attentive and very friendly.

25/11/2024: There is no beer or coffee or even Coca-Cola or other fizzy drinks. The toilets are excellent

28/07/2024: The hotel impresses with its attractive architecture and rich history and is ideally located in the center of Kaltern, where guests even have parking spaces in the courtyard. The restaurant spoils you with delicious dishes, but the portions could perhaps be a little more generous. A rich and individual breakfast is offered to hotel guests (no buffet). The staff is courteous and friendly, especially the senior manager. Overall, this is an excellent place in a prime location.
