Everything was great! 😊 We felt like family!

We stayed here for one night during our mountain bike alpine crossing. Modern rooms, very friendly staff/owner. We booked half board and would recommend it: 4 courses with a salad buffet, soup, half board (schnitzel and omelet were delicious!), and dessert. We paid €50 for two people, including water and a half liter of house wine. Great value for money, and it tasted good, and we were satisfied. Truly top-notch – thanks to the team and the Sonne family!!! Centrally located in St. Lorenzen, bikes can be safely stored in the ski room. We would stay here again 👍👍👍

Great hotel with excellent cuisine and very friendly staff

Amazing gasthoff, friendly people. However pay attention: restaurant is not open for people from outside so it’s very empty and only inside. Then the rooms: the newly renovated rooms are very nice but the old ones are outdated. Plus: no AC in the hotel (also not in the renovated rooms) but sleeping with the windows open is difficult. Next to the hotel is bar which is open till late and the street in front of the hotel is busy even at night. So try to get a room on the backside, otherwise if you are light sleeper prepare for short nights. Breakfast was good and the location is nice. Good restaurants close by and a cute village in the Dolomites.

Gasthof Sonne is a historic hotel in the center of San Lorenzo di Sebato, near Brunico. Excellent location for visiting the Pusteria Valley. I stayed in an excellently furnished single room, large bathroom and comfortable bed. Super breakfast with fresh bread and excellent croissants, dinner is typical with a strong point in the soups. The rating takes into account quality and price.
