This bar and restaurant in Lasa, a few kilometers from the Austrian border, is located in a small square with tables set up. We ordered an apple tart with a scoop of ice cream and cream and two barley coffees for about 12 euros, which is average in these parts. The tart, however, was very delicious.

The food is fantastic, the portions are generous! The "small" beef carpaccio is more than just an appetizer and is beautifully presented! It takes a bit of time, but the Gasthof Krone is a very relaxing break during the bike ride between the Reschen Pass and Merano!
