We had the pleasure of enjoying the amenities of this house for 10 days over the Christmas period. The secluded location is the first excellent prerequisite for a truly relaxing stay. No hustle and bustle, no noise pollution, just complete peace and quiet! The former pilgrims' hostel is characterized by a beautiful simplicity in its architecture and room furnishings. The cuisine is outstanding, offering an exceptional five-course menu in the evenings and a served breakfast with a supplementary buffet in the mornings. All the staff are always attentive to the well-being of their guests and radiate a high level of friendliness and hospitality around the clock. We felt very well cared for here and would love to return.

A perfectly atmospheric, historically inspired place. An extraordinary hotel that enchants you every time and leaves you feeling homesick: We've incorporated many fantastic dishes and details into our own menu; but we still can't quite match their skill in cooking and serving with such warmth...

A wonderful hotel for relaxation! The hotel is very tastefully furnished, and the rooms are spacious and inviting. Besides the remarkable friendliness of the staff, the excellent food is a particular highlight. There's even a menu available at breakfast. The evening menu is exceptionally good, and the portions are generous. We felt very comfortable for four days. Even though the location is somewhat off the beaten track in South Tyrol, the journey there is definitely worthwhile!

A pleasant hotel in a beautiful location, away from the hustle and bustle of the Adige Valley. The modernization was very successful, preserving the original character of the building, which is situated right in the heart of Our Lady of the Woods. The rooms are very beautiful, spacious, and spotlessly clean. The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel at home at all times. We were treated to imaginative and highly creative cuisine, which places great emphasis on local produce and herbs. First-class multi-course dinners (part of our half-board arrangement) and an excellent breakfast made our stay a truly enjoyable experience. Many thanks to the Kofler-Mocatti family. We would love to return.

We first visited "Zum Hirschen" in the spring and were drawn back in the fall. Stunning natural surroundings, the food, we thought, was exceptionally good, beautiful, clean, modern rooms, relaxing in the sauna, and hospitality combined with sustainability...what more could you want? We'd love to come back.
