A rustic hut, idyllically situated on the Merano High Trail in the Texel Mountains, about a 1.5-hour hike through the forest above the Tiroler Kreuz in Dorftirol. South Tyrolean specialties, including apple strudel and Kaiserschmarrn, are all delicious. Friendly service. The hike there is worth it!

For anyone who enjoys a "short" hike from Caines (Waalweg), the Longfall Inn is a must. Time seems to have stood still here! When a disillusioned amateur hiker completes the Merano High Trail in 6 days without checking the World Wide Web (whether it's open on Fridays) and then writes a 1-star review out of frustration and disappointment, that's pathetic! You don't give a review without reference to the inn, service, food, ambiance, etc. Dear Seb D, please reconsider your "comment" and revise it. That's called decency! C. Koch

A warm family business paired with a stunning mountain backdrop. Delicious dishes at reasonable prices. The homemade elderberry cake is especially delicious. Child- and dog-friendly. We'd happily return.

Only had drinks there as too hot to eat, food smelt and looked lovely. Beautiful setting.

An absolutely impressive location in a spectacular location. If you are looking for an inn with very inexpensive food and drinks with friendly service after a long hike, you are in the best place. My family and I were very satisfied with our stay there and will definitely spend a few hours there again.

After an intensive climb from Tiroler Kreuz, it is a wonderful place to relax. Many from your own kitchen, small but cozy terrace. Friendly service. Really authentic
