Magnificent view, great panorama

Right next to the cable car with a great view of Merano. Very cozy place with a large terrace and a small raised plateau with deck chairs. They are very helpful and fast, and the cakes are excellent and large. A great place to feed the soul and refresh the body

Whenever I ride my bike from Dorf Tirol up to Hochmuth or am on the way back from the Mutspitze, I'm really looking forward to the brilliant, well-cooked spaghetti Bolognese. And the “extreme sports water” (sparkling water with freshly squeezed lemon juice), which is essential for survival after these strenuous tours. But sometimes it can be the whole menu up and down – everything tastes perfect! Must be the cook's fault ;=} The team at “Muth” is always friendly and attentive, even if things get really busy on some days, because Hochmuth is located directly on the famous Meraner Höhenweg. So 5 stars from me – what else?

The inn has a breathtaking location. While on one side you have a view of Meran and the valley, on the opposite side you can see the mountains where you will continue the next day if you have planned in that direction. The prices are appropriate for South Tyrol. The hosts are all very friendly and humorous. What bothered me a bit is that we were promised a double room by email, but we got a four-bed room. But otherwise the inn is highly recommended.
