Wonderful discovery, warm and relaxed environment, friendly staff, very good and refined food, absolutely honest prices! After a walk in the mountains it was another beautiful memory

A visit to this traditional Ossola restaurant is highly recommended for several reasons: the stunning location, particularly the dining area with large glass windows and a modern country-style architecture; the high quality of the local dishes, showcasing the best flavors of the region; and the well-curated wine cellar, featuring many gems of Italian winemaking. That said, there is room for improvement. The wine list, while impressive, is not fully comprehensive and occasionally lacks consistency in the information provided. Additionally, considering the high standard of the venue and its wine selection, the menu could benefit from the inclusion of a few more contemporary reinterpretations of traditional dishes. Overall, a wonderful dining experience—highly recommended! It’s a 4.5.

We were already at Gallo Nero 4 years ago and we fell in love with it, we finally returned and they did not disappoint us! The quality of the raw materials is high, the dishes are chosen with care and the flavors explode in the mouth. The service is really very pleasant, you can see that they love their job. We can't wait to relive the delicious dishes.

Excellent food, very nice place with breathtaking views of the mountains, friendly and impeccable service, highly recommended! The only note is that I would increase the portion of dessert (chocolate pear panettone in my case) to balance the quantity-price ratio, but as far as quality is concerned, there is nothing to complain about, the food is excellent! We'll be back.

Very nice place, with the Ossola mountains on the horizon and cow pasture just a few dozen meters away. Particular architecture, with a sloping wooden roof. Friendly staff, served quickly. Good quality and adequate price, even cheap these days. Suitable for trips to the Ossola valleys. Advised.
