It's as close as you're going to get to authentic Italian, particularly in the tourist area. With that in mind, set your expectations accordingly: this isn't California Pizza; if that's what you're looking for, go elsewhere. Perhaps California. The marinated eggplant that accompanied the bread was interesting. The lasagna, ravioli, and tortellini are legit. You're in Rome, at an Italian restaurant -- do it right and get Italian classics and you won't be disappointed. If you try to exist on salad here that's a You Problem. Oh, and Sergio is delightful.

Wow. What a magical, hidden place to eat in centro. Place is decorated in a kitsch way, with an entre mezzo floor with a piano.
We just arrived from the airport after a rental car delivery on a Sunday around 11PM and they had its kitchen open (unlike all other places around) with an artist playing the piano for a colorful audience.
Wine, pasta, friendly people. You can’t go wrong here!!

Excellent dinner! Great atmosphere! They brought us bread and eggplant dish to start which was tasty! Each ordered a pasta dish and house wine and both thoroughly enjoyed them. Sweet waiter brought us a limoncello to finish the meal! Amazing, traditional experience!

The atmosphere is of a Key West throwback.
The food is authentic Rimano e Abbruzzese.
The downstairs cantina dining area is unlike anything you have experienced.
