Best diner experience so far in Calabria! It is a little off the grid but this family owned and operated restaurant is off the charts, the food is simple yet delicious. Although saying delicious is not enough. Angela and his husband takes the experience beyond expectations. You are treated like family and I'm not saying it lightly. Extra digestive liquor on the house! If you are ever in Scalea, Calabria, do not miss it.

A trattoria like something out of a film about bella Italia. 😍
The menu is modest but delicious, the prices are very fair, the staff are courteous and friendly (they also speak English), and the atmosphere is very informal—simply a top recommendation!

More than a dinner, this is a true evening of joy, conviviality, and good food. A family-run trattoria with perfectly cooked homemade dishes and a simple, old-fashioned atmosphere.
As Lorenzo (the owner) says, don't expect anything fancy because there isn't any 😁 you'll find much better (karaoke included). Seeing is believing...

This place has soul and atmosphere, exactly what I was looking for in Italy. Away from the crowds of tourists, it's even more authentic. As a Pole, I've finally found a true trattoria – family-run, full of warmth and passion. It's clear the owners love what they do.
Unassuming from the outside, inside it delights with a simple menu and phenomenal cuisine. Every dish is prepared with love and the utmost care – true Italian tradition on a plate.
Thank you for the wonderful moments and unforgettable taste.

The place is impossible to describe.
A random mix of things... improvised karaoke. Absurd and fun. Rustic and welcoming.
Exceptional service, especially for those serving tables: a genius disguised as a madman, or vice versa. I still have to figure it out.
The menu is a shame. Everything was good, very little choice, and we happened upon it one day with dishes that were decidedly too simple.
Too bad.
Anyone interested in going for the menu they see in the reviews should call to avoid surprises.
