A unique, welcoming, familiar place, where you can perceive the genuineness of the land and the people who work there (a simple family that loves what they do). The dishes are extraordinary, prepared with raw materials and according to the Calabrian tradition. The goat ragù and the goat chops are phenomenal!!! Compliments to everyone, from those who grow and harvest, to those who cook and welcome customers. We hope to return soon!

Family-run trattoria, genuine traditional dishes, fresh ingredients and vegetables from the garden. The chicken cacciatore is exquisite. Very kind owners! Highly recommended!

We found this place by chance through reviews and are so glad we made the short 10-minute trip. Angela, the host, warmly welcomed us and gave excellent recommendations. We had the goat stew with vegetables and fusilli with goat ragu—both absolutely incredible, the best meals we’ve had in Italy so far. We ended the evening with great conversation, fresh mulberries from their tree, and a strong espresso. We’ll be back tomorrow—it’s that good!

punto primo, ho chiamato e chiesto se ci fossero dei bus (perché il locale è un po' fuori) e mi sono venuti a prendere e a riportare. punto secondo, i titolari due ragazzi meravigliosi, disponibili, simpatici, chiacchieroni e super onesti. punto terzo, la cena, ho pagato 30€ e ho mangiato un antipasto, un primo abbondante, un secondo che non saprei spiegare perché lo sto sognando ancora di notte, vino, acqua, pane, caffè, amaro, dolce e non so cos'altro, alla fine mi sono lamentato perché era davvero poco. mi sono intrattenuto a chiacchierare con i ragazzi perché volevo sapere di più della loro attività, fanno tutto in gestione famigliare, prodotti a metri zero, mano sapiente delle mamme in cucina, disponibilità e trasparenza, se potessi tornerei tutti i giorni, peccato vivere a 600km. Continuate così ragazzi 🥰

Location apprezzabile per la sua semplicità, piatti cucinati divinamente, abbiamo potuto assaporare un antipasto della casa e un primo piatto casereccio quali fusilloni con sugo di capra (la pasta era fresca in quanto fatta in casa) Consiglio vivamente anche per la gentilezza dei proprietari Lorenzo e Angela

06/06/2025: Extremely high-quality food with great service in a fantastic atmosphere. I can recommend this restaurant to everyone when they're in Civita. I foolishly tried something else first and wasted an evening doing so. As for the food... The starter consisted of a delicious ball of carrot, bread, and almonds in a delicious carrot sauce. Next came a kind of potato croquette with bacon in an oregano sauce. Wow. To finish, there were three varieties of pecorino and a local ham. We regretted only asking for half a portion of the starter. It was delicious. For the main course, we had ragu bianco with homemade pasta, and for the second course, roast veal. The meat was divine and extremely tender. The sauce was light, and I drenched it all in the homemade bread. The homemade pasta was excellent. The ragu bianco was perfect. ``` We also ordered a great rosé from an excellent wine list (approx. 25 wines). The waiter gave us perfect advice. He was very friendly, and it was a pleasure to be served impeccably by him. The portions are sized so that you can truly enjoy the classic Italian menu, consisting of an appetizer, first course, and second course, without feeling gluttonous or hungry at the end of the meal. P.S. As a passionate amateur cook who has traveled extensively around the world, I have rarely been so impressed. Buon appetito P.S. The slight price difference compared to other restaurants is more than justified, because in the end, the service is simply many times better.
13/05/2025: I recently had the pleasure of visiting the restaurant L'oste d'Arberia, and I'm still thrilled with my dining experience. What truly sets this restaurant apart is its consistent focus on seasonal produce. From the moment the appetizer arrived, it was clear that freshness and quality are a priority.

07/06/2025: Infinite THANK YOU and true compliments to everyone! To say exceptional is an understatement. We had lunch on Saturday in complete tranquility and grace. Impeccable service. We enjoyed a seafood salad full of flavors in 3, two excellent spaghetti with clams and bergamot, squid with tomato sauce 'illegal' in taste, sea bass and roasted octopus. They also have excellent options for lunch for breaks and business lunches, as well as take-away for both lunch and dinner. A reality like this must be protected. True compliments to Francesca and her husband Carmine for the idea, the care and quality of everything. I'll be back very soon to surprise someone very dear to me.
21/05/2025: Sta il cibo buono; locale piccolo ma gradevole, cucina gourmet specializzata nel pesce. Ottimi le tartare ed i crudi. Primi di ottima qualità. Personale molto gentile e prezzo in linea con i prodotti offerti. Che dire da provare.
