The food quality and taste were average (nothing special, no great things), but the prices were quite high: €30 per person for a sandwich or half a chicken. Even the ketchup and mayonnaise (which were sold separately) were extra. The least pleasant thing was that for the €148 bill (there were five of us), the cashier charged us €30 each without giving us change, as if it were her right to take more than the amount stated on the receipt. It's not about the €2, it's about the gesture. We won't be returning, and we don't recommend it.

The food at Gallinero is truly delicious! The ribs are delicious, the chicken with grilled vegetables is perfect, and the hot dog is absolutely worth a try. The desserts are a treat: the tiramisu is out of this world and the mango sorbet is truly magical. Service is fast, and the staff is friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place!

The food was wonderful, and we were very satisfied. There was also a lactose-free dessert, which I really appreciated. The Brazilian staff member Rafaela is very friendly and attentive. I highly recommend it, and we will definitely come back.

A regular stop for us who live nearby. The food is excellent, the place is rustic, and the staff is very friendly and fast. One evening, we accidentally ordered a sandwich wrong, and not only did they bring it to us, but they also remade it the right way and offered it to us. Rare gestures these days. Go there.

04/11/2025: We found this gem by chance, near the rugby field, after a game. And we'll definitely be back. The Sunday menu features traditional dishes, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Not to mention the homemade desserts, which are simply delicious. The staff is very friendly and helpful, ready to answer our questions and curiosities about the food, the place, and Verona. The place isn't huge, but it's very well-kept and clean. Recommended. We'll definitely be back at the first opportunity.
