The “Gaetano Paolella” pizzeria in Acerra is not just any pizzeria. It's one of those places where you enter with high expectations and still manage to be surprised. A place where pizza is not just food, but an art form that tells of passion, technique and tradition. We are in a point of reference now recognized far beyond the city limits, where people come from even Naples, which is saying something. As soon as you arrive you are struck by the external appearance: walls decorated in an original way, a distinctive touch that already makes you understand that here nothing is left to chance. But the real eye-catcher comes with the queue: many people waiting, orderly, ready to take home a piece of excellence. Gaetano has divided the space intelligently: on one side the takeaway, with three wood-fired ovens always active; on the other, the room for those who want to enjoy the pizza seated, calmly. And right inside, what is striking is the area where everything takes shape: a well-organised counter where the pizza chefs work in full view of everyone, with two ovens behind them that look like pizza cathedrals. The order and cleanliness are remarkable: even the simple step to go to the bathroom tells you something, with scent, cleanliness and attention that give pleasure and make a positive impression. The place changes over time, is renewed, but never loses its soul. He remains true to himself, because the real protagonist is always him: the pasta record that becomes magic. I, like every time, ordered my favorite: provola and pepper. But this time I wanted to try something different, asking for a cartwheel application, despite knowing that the very hydrated dough makes this technique complicated. The result? A marvel. When the pizza arrived, it looked like a work of art: visually perfect, with the scent of freshly baked bread that conquers you even before the taste. When cut you could see the cavities that seemed to have been dug with the brush, precise cooking, no burning, just a splendid caramelisation. Each bite was a concentrate of flavour, with the provolone blending with the pepper in perfect balance. No flavor covered the other: it was all harmonious, well-calibrated, enveloping. I can't even describe how good it was. It just stays in your mind. It's the kind of pizza that makes you say “when am I going back?” already while you are still finishing the last slice. If you love pizza, but the real one, the one made with the heart, you can't miss trying Gaetano Paolella. It is a place where the standard is very high, but the atmosphere remains welcoming and authentic. I will definitely return, and I bet that you too, after trying it, will do the same.

Le recensioni positive di questo locale mi hanno fatto venire la voglia di assaggiare questa pizza. E devo dire che tutte le recensioni positiva fatte sono meritatissime. Signori una delle pizze più buone mai assaggiate. Impasto leggerissimo ma croccante, ingredienti strabuoni. Favoloso.ps anche il locale è veramente bello. Il servizio è stato velocissimo.. Ed era sabato.

Pizzeria abbastanza rinomata ad Acerra, tanto che il sabato sera c'è praticamente sempre fila fuori per entrare. La prima nota positiva infatti è data dalla possibilità di prenotare anche il sabato seppur solo al primo turno, quello delle 20. La pizza e le fritture sono davvero buone e sembra tutto fatto con ingredienti di qualità, a questo si aggiunge un personale estremamente gentile e professionale e un ambiente molto tranquillo dove poter cenare. Sono rimasto soddisfatto, a presto!
