Generally good food. The Tuscan Pigeon was very well made. The Tuscan soup was just ok if compared with other restaurants.

What was extraordinary was the dish with a variety of cold meats and cheeses, delicious and generous! On the other hand, we were a little frustrated, pasta that was not extraordinary compared to the price

We passed by chance. Lunch on a wonderful sunny Saturday. Helpful, courteous and attentive service. Very good, well-prepared and tasty food. Located in a quiet part of San Gimignano with an outdoor veranda. Absolutely worth trying.

Small restaurant outside the old town, but very nice. Beautiful dining room, well decorated. Very good Osso Bucco, plentiful. Good value for money.

** WOW ** This place should have a Michelin star! The place blends old vs new…. The staff are well versed in many languages. We didn’t have reservations and got squeezed in for dinner. The place was packed with people from around the world. The host was professional and made us feel at home. Our server was Euklide and on point professional. We asked for his personal favorites. I had the smoked… summer truffle…. Tartare….. yes all one dish… I have never had these flavor combinations, especially with smoke. I also had pigeon with summer truffles… (Americans try the pigeon) ….. totally unbelievably…… everything perfect and on point! We will be back. Ho scelto il posto grazie alle recensioni lusinghiere trovate con l'applicazione, non posso che confermare l'eccellente qualità delle portate scelte, la gentilezza del personale e la squisita accoglienza del titolare. Non posso che consigliare questo ristorante e confermare che ritornerei a mangiare qui trovandomi da queste parti.

Lo abbiamo trovato su Tripadvisor durante la nostra visita a San Gimignano, si trova a 2 passi da Porta San Matteo, locale molto carino e accogliente, staff gentilissimo e disponibile, una menzione particolare per Barbara, lei è il 🔝 ci ha fatto prendere una fiorentina da 1.300 kg di una qualità e bontà incredibili!!! Ottimo anche il tagliere di salumi con formaggi, torneremo sicuramente!

Ristorante Pane e Vino Zucchero

22/05/2025: We were at Pane vino & Zucchero yesterday and had a wonderful evening. We had made a reservation in advance and were warmly welcomed by the owner. He made the evening a special experience with his wit and charm, along with the fantastic food. For starters, we had a mixed platter with various types of ham and sausage and pecorino cheese. This was accompanied by various delicious breads. After that, we had a fantastic tagliata (cooked to perfection) with mushrooms. Last but not least, we had the "gran finale," the house tiramisu, recommended by the owner. It was the crowning glory. All in all, it was fantastic and highly recommended. Thanks again to the entire team.
18/05/2025: During our visit to Pienza, we stumbled upon Andrea and his small but exquisite restaurant by chance. The food was simply divine. Everything was delicious, fresh, and with a certain creative twist. Andrea is an unbeatable host. We've rarely experienced such excellent service :)

12/05/2025: We had dinner last Friday, the place is very nice, well looked after even in the details with a splendid display of the meats and wines. The reinterpretation of the cappuccino is very good and I recommend trying it; the platter of Tuscan cured meats and cheeses and the tartare are excellent. The Florentine was spectacular. Cooked to perfection and delicious. All accompanied by excellent wine and excellent service. Thanks to Stefano, Beatrice and all the staff.
