Fucina di Vulcano In Bronte

We chose La Fucina di Vulcano as our wedding venue, enchanted first and foremost by the view of Mount Etna, its pure and majestic beauty, but also by the friendly, warm, and professional approach of the owner, Irene, and her young and competent team. The venue is truly beautiful, elegant, and minimalist, recognizing that creating something classy requires a light touch and letting nature do its thing. The cuisine is amazing; we requested a vegetarian menu and were offered rich, thoughtful, and balanced dishes—in short, not the usual frittatas, grilled vegetables, and potatoes that often appear on vegetarian menus at events. They were also very attentive to the allergies and intolerances of the guests we reported. The evening after the wedding, my wife and I slept in one of La Fucina's rooms. Consistent with the entire style, it was understated, elegant, and clean. Many compliments to Irene for what she has created and to the people who work with her, always available, kind, and thoughtful. I felt at home and I don't know what better I could say.

On Saturday, I had a wonderful experience at my son and his wonderful partner's wedding in a captivating setting, both for the location, the spectacular view of Mount Etna, and above all for the kindness and professionalism of the staff, led by young hosts. P.S. The food is amazing!

In Bronte, under the gaze of Etna, a structure perfectly integrated into the surrounding landscape, suitable for ceremonies and events but also simply for spending a peaceful weekend.

We spent a wonderful day relaxing by the pool with a spectacular view of Mount Etna. The staff was very kind and the pistachio ice cream was delicious.

Superlative food, a peaceful environment where you can spend one or more nights in peace and quiet.

As vacationers passing through, we saw the sign and stopped for lunch. The cuisine was delicious, reflecting the flavors and aromas of the area. We particularly enjoyed the tartare and the Bronte pistachio gelato, with salt and extra virgin olive oil. Unfortunately, the wine we were eager to try had run out. The staff was friendly and helpful. The view of Mount Etna during lunch was also quite picturesque. The only downside, but only for that occasion, was that there were two baptism receptions in the dining room, and we felt a bit like gatecrashers.

Trovato cercando su internet e scelto per le belle foto dove in particolare attraeva il paesaggio su cui l’Etna dominava in tutta la sua magnificenza. L’albergo a prima vista molto bello si è rivelato una delusione. Prima di tutto la camera che mancava di alcuni servizi tra cui un telefono con cui comunicare con la reception per cui si è dovuto ogni volta andare giù. Poi grande delusione anche per la colazione ed anche il pranzo a menù fisso del 1. Maggio in cui abbiamo coinvolto degli amici. In un paese come Bronte rinomato per la produzione di pistacchio d’eccellenza questo era il grande assente. Incomincio dalla colazione(compresa nel soggiorno) molto povera e banale e a domanda se era possibile avere quella continentale con il “salato” è stata avanzata la richiesta di integrazioni pagando € 5,00 di extra. Cosa mai sentita altrove. Il pranzo è stato altrettanto deludente a fronte di altisonanti nomi a menù. Uno dei primi che a dir loro era con salsa di pistacchio non sapeva di nulla: slavato. Il maialino nero dei Nebrodi era una fettina quasi trasparente con un contorno di patate al forno che è meglio non descrivere. Non parliamo del cosiddetto dolce. Una specie di cremina aromatizzata forse al limone su un crumble di dubbia fattura. Era troppo aspettarsi almeno un dolce al pistacchio ?! La scelta del vino è stata su una azienda locale accettando il consiglio del cameriere. Un Etna doc che non ha lasciato nessun ricordo se non il prezzo di € 28,00 che posso dire che non ne valeva nemmeno la metà. Non ho scelto quello di aziende conosciute e rinomate del territorio che erano allo stesso costo per provare quello che ci è stato proposto e decantato. Concludo dicendo che la camera a notte è stata di € 175,00 con la colazione di cui sopra e che con un po’ meno di questa tariffa ho soggiornato in hotel di alta qualità e con servizi di eccellenza. Chiaramente non lo consiglio a chi oltre al panorama cerca qualità e bontà.

Bellissimo resort in un ambiente vulcanico unico. Colpisce in ogni angolo del resort il panorama del vulcano che domina pur essendo già intorno quota mille metri. Ampie vetrate panoramiche nelle parti comuni. E' un luogo magico in cui è possibile un totale relax. Il personale è preparato e gentile e accontenta nei limiti del possibile le richieste extra. I cibi offrono prodotti a km 0 di primizie locali, a partire dal famoso pistacchio di Bronte , l'olio d'oliva di aroma unico, i funghi etnei e il buon gusto delle pietanze proposte tratte dalle migliori tradizioni delle cucine locali. Da provare assolutamente.
