Frigidarium In Varallo

I've been going for 50 years, at least once a year, to enjoy the best gelato ever. I was 18, had a fresh driver's license, and I used to go to Varallo for gelato.

One of the best gelato shops in the area. The gelato is truly delicious, with creamy, well-balanced flavors and quality ingredients. The prices are fair and affordable, especially considering the quality of the product and the service offered. The numerous seating options, both inside and outside, are also highly appreciated, allowing you to enjoy your gelato at your leisure in a clean and welcoming environment. A special plus is the fact that the gelato shop has a restroom, a detail that's not a given and very useful, especially for families or tourists passing through. A gelato shop like this deserves to be in Orta San Giulio: it would be a perfect addition to an already magical place.

For years a guarantee in Varallo Sesia both in terms of product quality and prices. Truly exceptional!!

The ice cream is good, but it arrived on the plate at the table already half melted and with a reduction that I had asked not to put. Service to improve.

We have been going to the Frigidarium for years and it has always been a great experience. Now that they have introduced some gluten free solutions for celiacs, we are even more satisfied!! The staff, who have always stood out for their courtesy and kindness, have been even more so today, responding to our requests for clarification on the service, which allowed us to enjoy in peace, a good cone topped with their tasty ice cream. I would like to add that for breakfast, they serve gluten free cookies and brownies! So for us six stars. Thank you! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

It was my favorite gelatos of the trip. The pistachio, chocolate flavours were gorgeous and I especially loved the banana flavor as it tasted really authentic banana flavor! Highly recommend

A huge selection of desserts, types of coffee and tea. Patient and nice service for visitors, even for those who don't speak the language. Recommended place and almost always open.
