Friggo & Mangi In Mola di bari

I stopped at this "Ristorante pizzeria pescheria friggitoria" because I was passing by on a Sunday evening with my wife. It's a 1990s-style place, with a fish counter and a pizza oven. We ordered a marinara pizza and a panzerotto, which was actually a closed pizza, huge. I admit the dough isn't bad at all, quite leavened and light, with plenty of toppings. The only problem I encountered was using stringy dough instead of mozzarella in the panzerotto, which didn't have the same flavor or texture. It ruined the rest of the pizza, which was good. I hope they don't put it on the pizza too. Too bad. The pizza chef was serving, and he was juggling between the oven and the tables, slowing down the service, but there were only four people in the place, who knows... If I may, focus on one activity instead of doing many... The prices are still reasonable.

We've been frequenting this fry shop for a while now. The quality of the dishes, especially the fish, has never disappointed us. The owner, besides being an excellent cook, is also a pleasant and patient lady... she greeted us with a smile and without a reservation at 3:30 PM, making us feel at ease despite the hour. Everything was excellent, fresh and authentic, the staff was friendly, and the price was excellent. Thank you and congratulations.
