Finally a smile welcomes us. As soon as you enter, a familiar atmosphere envelops you. The two guys who are in the room, perhaps the owners (I don't know) were immediately kind and helpful. We took all the appetizers from the menu, one better than the other, but the crostone remains in my heart: delicate and delicious. Honest price and adequate for the quality. Advise!!

Fresco is a restaurant that conquers for its romantic position and intimate location. The food is exceptional: cod fritters, fried mushrooms and cauliflower with vegetables are dishes you don't find every day. The selection of wines is also excellent, with a classic method sparkling wine from Trentino that surprised us. The prices are really affordable for the quality offered. As second courses, the fried anchovies, gnocchi with pesto and fish roll were delicious. The desserts are special and excellent. The young and friendly owner makes the experience even more pleasant. To return!

Santamonica

28/01/2025: Yesterday I had lunch at Santamonica with my friend Alessandra who has put up with me since 1972. Franciacorta bubbles accompanied raw seafood and linguine, sea urchins, coconut milk and Kombu seaweed butter. The sweet epilogue: tasting of Panera pralines and semifreddo with coffee. I think that after this lunch Alessandra will tolerate me better and for this I also thank Monica Capurro and all the restaurant staff, who pampered us and made us feel at home. Ah, I forgot, for those who would like these dishes and this service at the price of a fast food restaurant: this is not possible and not even right; what is right is the bill paid here.
26/01/2025: Ieri ho pranzato al Santamonica con la mia amica Alessandra che mi sopporta dal 1972. Bollicine Franciacorta hanno accompagnato dei crudi di mare e delle linguine, ricci di mare, latte di cocco e burro alle alghe Kombu. Il dolce epilogo: degustazione di praline e semifreddo panera col caffè. Penso che dopo questo pranzo Alessandra mi sopporterà meglio e per questo ringrazio anche Monica Capurro e tutto lo staff del ristorante, che ci ha coccolato e fatto sentire a casa. Ah, dimenticavo, per quelli che vorrebbero questi piatti e questo servizio al prezzo di un fast food: questo non è possibile e nemmeno giusto; quello che è giusto è invece il conto pagato qui.
