The pizzeria stands out for its truly excellent pizza: the dough is thin, well leavened and rich in flavour, while the ingredients are fresh and well balanced. It is clear that the kitchen works with care, offering a product that satisfies even the most demanding palates. However, the experience was compromised by some flaws in the service and desserts.
The service, apparently quick, lacked attention and sensitivity. When the waitress stopped by to ask if everything was okay, we expected the chance to share honest feedback on the pie, which unfortunately wasn't up to scratch. Instead, her automatic, distracted response — a “yes yes” that shut down any attempt at conversation — made it clear she wasn't interested in listening or improving service. This attitude, more than the waiting times, was what left a negative impression.
As for the patty, it was a real disappointment: dry, dry, and lacking the texture you expect. It cracked when cut and lacked that delicious touch that should make a dessert the perfect ending to a dinner. It almost seems like it wasn't prepared with the same attention given to pizza.
In conclusion, a pizzeria with an excellent culinary base but which should invest more in staff training and in the quality of the desserts. Listening to customers is essential for growth, and at the moment this essential ingredient seems to be missing.

I am sorry to report an unpleasant event that occurred in this place; unfortunately, no pizza, no matter how good, is able to compensate for the sorrow caused by the episode. I decided to celebrate my birthday by eating a pizza with friends, but unfortunately the atmosphere was completely ruined by a waiter, probably the restaurant manager. Once we get to dessert, we order based on our preferences until a diner asks if there were any desserts that didn't contain milk and eggs. The waiter kindly makes a proposal and it is accepted. The desserts arrive at the table in stages, starting with the dessert without milk and eggs. When the last ones arrive, the waiter warns that there is cream in the dessert he brought and asks if it is an allergy/intolerance or something else. I would like to point out that the person could have started eating the dessert before being notified of the matter: this is incorrect regardless, but even more so if there had been an underlying intolerance (I add that you should ask the chef first, then notify the customer and only then plate and bring the dessert to the table in case of a positive outcome, not the other way around). Luckily the person is not allergic, but simply made the personal choice to be vegan, which in my opinion (omnivorous) does not necessarily require sharing, but certainly deserves respect. The moment this was communicated, the waiter decided to entertain us for 20 minutes about how choosing to be vegan is wrong. He allowed himself to question the health of the person present there, embarrassing him and making observations that were not his responsibility. In fact, he spoke of his numerous degrees, those achieved and those planned, but none of these included a degree in Medicine and Surgery, in Biology or in Dietetics. Expressing an opinion is everyone's right, of course, but it is not right to suffer an inquisition while you are out for lunch, especially from those who theoretically should make you feel at ease. His monologue was, in my opinion, totally out of place, he spoke at length about himself (even about the fact that despite being 40 he has the sculpted abs of a twenty year old, information that I would have gladly spared myself) without taking into consideration that he was making a person uncomfortable.
Too bad, because the pizza was delicious, even the vegan one.

Occasion
dinner with friends
Location
venue in the center of Udine. The descent into the underground where the tables are present is intriguing. The pizza oven, however, is on the ground floor as soon as you enter.
Unfortunately, the large room where the tables are located is very noisy (obviously it has no windows) and with the room full it is annoying and very hot (even though it was November).
Food
I got the fried pizza. Good but nothing special to report. With a little more care in the presentation, the tomato and mozzarella seemed to have been thrown on top of the pizza. The desserts are aesthetically beautiful but lacking in taste.
Service
Even though we had booked we had to wait at least 15/20 minutes outside in front of the door of the place. Luckily it wasn't particularly cold.
Attentive table service even though I had the feeling of having to have a quick dinner to free up the table
Price
Aligned with the premises of Udine. 25 euros per person for a pizza each, drinks and desserts.
Overall it's not a place I would return to.

Ho provato il locale domenica 15 settembre. Il personale ci ha accolto ed assegnato subito un tavolo. Abbiamo provato la pizza fritta: tipo calzone ripieno. Buonissima
