A place that doesn't need reviews or anything else. Fratelli la bufala are, excuse the pun, anything but a hoax, but a solid reality where you can eat well both pizzeria and restaurant. Don't trust me...trust yourselves. Enjoy your meal

The meal was very good, both the pasta with shellfish and the lamb stew with the pasta. The only problem was the noise: unbearable, it echoed everywhere, making it impossible to talk to each other because people were talking too loudly, and the room isn't soundproof!

Le repas était très bon, les pâtes aux coquillages ainsi que le ragoût de mouton avec les pâtes. Le seul problème à été le bruit : insupportable, ça résonnait de partout, impossible de se parler car les gens parlaient beaucoup trop forts et la salle n'est pas insonorisée !

Amazing service and very welcoming! Welcomed us with a prosecco and fried pizza balls. Everything was perfect including the pizzas and fried potato dippers!

It has been one of my favorite places for several years. Perhaps it was only when the pizza was opened that it looked like rubber and the orders were not written down, thus creating confusion. After a few years I must say that they have improved a lot, so much so that they have become one of the best pizzerias in Reggio Calabria. But over the years they have speeded up the service as they are always full, furthermore, they put you at smaller tables than others and I have noticed that they tend to fill them before the other tables. I have tried almost everything and I can say that the quality is unquestionable... the desserts, pizzas, gnocchi etc. are excellent. Over time, the prices have also increased disproportionately, that is, a dessert has come to cost 6.50 .. a sausage and potatoes pizza or with salami 9 euros.. a coke from 33 to 3 euros.. not to mention the prices of beers or cover charge where in the end you dine on a simple paper placemat.

You wait about 20 minutes for a table outside, the menu is a bit unclear, and as often happens, there’s the usual issue with English — so it’s a good idea to have an Italian translator on hand to avoid getting the wrong order ;) In general, the food is really good, but nothing particularly special.

13/05/2025: We just ate at their place, it was delicious! Red shrimp tartare then teriyaki tuna, it was fabulous. Great service, well-received, polite, well-located, nice terrace, and having tried a few restaurants in the city, this is the first one that is really good. And good wine selection!

25/05/2025: I have been going to Lievito for years and personally I think there is no better pizza in Reggio Calabria. I always get the same pizza everywhere and I have tried various pizzerias that are just as good, but I have always come back here. The reason? Lievito's pizza has a light dough, which leaves that feeling of satiety without weighing you down, with tasty ingredients and a wide choice of various pizzas on offer. It is the type of pizza, so to speak, that you would never dream of leaving the edges on your plate. This alone would be enough, but do we want to talk about the speed of the service? Even on a Saturday night the wait is really minimal (that is, with a booked table), and once you are seated you are served quickly. The staff is always helpful and kind. The takeaway and home delivery service is no exception, punctual 9.5/10, even on Saturdays. I have always had a good time, on every occasion, so I highly recommend Pizzeria Lievito to everyone. Things to improve: it's more of a suggestion, include vegan and vegetarian sandwiches in the menu so as to allow those who follow a different diet to be able to opt for a sandwich instead of pizza.
21/05/2025: No more room inside: a shame, because I still see empty tables and chairs. Quick set-up, friendly waiter, and fast service. The pizzas are tasty. The price is reasonable.
