One of the best restaurants in Castellaneta, they serve the most delicious burgers, whether meat, fish, or vegetables...they also have delicious appetizers; the potato chips are highly recommended. We love going there every year and are given a very friendly welcome and are recognized. Top-notch staff.

This evening I ate here at Fratelli Gourmet with my family. We ordered a "scrocchierella" of the day and then the sandwiches. I had the "il paesano" sandwich, with Sammichele zampina, smoked provola, turnip greens, and cream of sun-dried tomatoes in oil, accompanied by French fries. I thought it was truly delicious. I recommend this place to all Castellaneta residents, or anyone who is in the area. I recommend the "il paesano" and "il martinese" sandwiches.

L'osteria di Monacizzo

28/08/2025: It was a recommendation by our host and it did not disappoint at all! What a beautiful cute little Osteria with amazing food! The chef herself came out to ask how the food it and it was really good! The homemade pasta with tomatoe sauce - wow! A simple dish but so flavorful and amazing!
