The place is welcoming, even if a little too noisy and boisterous due to the "cheerful" and chatty staff (especially in the open kitchen). I ordered an American breakfast, very good, but when I had to add sugar to my long coffee, which was part of the aforementioned breakfast, I asked one of the waiters for some sachets of sugar and I was only brought ONE sachet of sugar when for a long coffee, therefore in a large cup as per American tradition, at least three sachets are needed, based, logically, on the quantity of drink to be sweetened. I deduce, therefore, that in this place there reigns a sort of greed towards sugar, because evidently for the owner of the place sugar has the same value as gold, but even if it were, I would have also been willing to pay for the extra sugar who served me, instead of receiving from a waiter, with an indifferent and dismissive air, a measly sachet of sugar (the quantity of sugar contained in it is less than a normal teaspoon), as if it were a subliminal message: «More of this, we don't give you!».

Surprisingly good, and reasonably priced, for a railway station restaurant! The house Chianti at 4 Euros per glass is perfectly drinkable.

Very quick lunch but excellent first courses. I tried the carbonara and I must tell the truth super promoted, rich in seasoning and super generous portion!! Some of my colleagues tried the pizza and were more than satisfied. Congratulations, Keep up the good work!

Local located within the structure of the Santa Maria Novella railway station.
Essential menu, as much as the environment, with traditional Italian first courses and Neapolitan-style pizzas (reduced choice).
Decent quality of pizzas, unfortunately with a bread effect on the crust. There is also a limited choice when it comes to beers and wine, which unlike pizza have a higher than average price.
Fried pizza cooked very well, but with absolutely poorly distributed fillings and with cheap quality ingredients (ricotta and cooked ham first and foremost).
The Ortolana pizza is good, although stingy with vegetables and with excessive burns.
Sanitary facilities at the limit of decency.
Friendly and quick service.

If you're after good pizza and you're at the main train station in Florence, then make a stop here. Their pizza here is done fast and is good. Crust is nice and chewy. The toppings they used at high quality. This place is also the only restaurant that I know of that has their own toilet.

First & best chicken we had on this trip, cooked to perfection. Cookes yummy vegetables. Their pizza looks great too. Neall was the reason why we decided to come in as he was so kind & pleasant. Also great music …. Perfect stop before our train ride.

Sono rimasta abbastanza delusa dalla pizza qui. La pasta non era male, ma entrambe sono arrivate annacquate. Visto che non abbiamo scelto gusti complicati, credo fosse la mozzarella, che ha rovinato tutto. Peccato.
