We had a charcuterie board, which was very good; the mixed grill was a little less so; let's just say, not exactly their best dish. However, the place is nice, right in the center of Ariccia, and worth a visit.

The food was all good, from the appetizers to the dessert.
The only flaw was that on some occasions we waited way too long for our food to be served.
The prices are reasonable and affordable for everyone. If you're looking for a real fraschetta, this is the place for you!

An "inn," sorry, a "fraschetta" that you can't miss if you want to experience the atmosphere of the Castelli family's days gone by... It might be a popular spot for tourists, but who cares! Let yourself be served and enjoy a carefree moment... the food is good, after all. Maybe avoid the "Vino del ca...o" (in name and in fact), their red wine by the glass is better. While a place like this still exists, enjoy it!

Everything was excellent, starting with the staff's kindness. My girlfriend was cold, and even though the place was crowded, they made sure she was okay several times, even going so far as to pull down a sheet to keep her warm. Truly rare customer service.
The food deserves the same praise: excellent and plentiful appetizers, amazing carbonara, and delicious tiramisu. They don't focus on quantity here, but on quality... and it shows because even though the place was packed, they treated us with kid gloves!
Full marks. We'll definitely be back!

We discovered it thanks to the 4 Restaurants program, and it was love at first sight, which was definitely confirmed with our experience here!
Appetizers: so many and all impeccable, first courses were amazing (there were 6 of us, so we experimented with the menu), and the arrosticini were noteworthy, they melted in your mouth. Tiramisu was a real treat.
Friendly and attentive service: I was cold at first, and they asked me several times if I was warm enough! (Never happened before)

This is our second time here for lunch; the first time, last year, was superb; the second time was good.
The truffle Gricia was extremely salty, undoubtedly due to the pecorino and guanciale. The pasta was edible, but I left the sauce on the plate. My dad had the Matriciana and said it was tasty but very good, my husband had the carbonara and it was out of this world. Generous portions. I had the porcini mushrooms, but they were completely drowned in oil. I ate two forkfuls and then took the rest home.
The service was a real mess if the owners were taking orders. Otherwise, it was chaos.
I recommend the polenta with chicory and guanciale; I assure you, it's truly delicious.
And their donuts are fantastic.
