I would like to come back for pizza! Service is good, waitresses are nice and helpful. Typical environment.

A discovery, reservation on the range with -50%. The pizzas are excellent as are the dishes! The owner? was not in a good day... bordering on being unfriendly. However the waitress is perfect, professional, kind!

Small location and certainly too crowded with tables that make it difficult to pass. Paper tablecloths and napkins that have little to do with Tuscan tradition, but nevertheless contribute to the excessive cost of €2.50 per person for a cover charge (perhaps it will be watermarked paper!). Slow and imprecise service in describing the dishes, especially to tourists from outside the region and to whom such a business can mostly appeal. Prices above average especially for pizza.

Il Frantoio è un piccolo locale da una trentina di coperti che serve cucina tipica Toscana ed una ottima pizza cotta voi forno a legna. Spazi un po ristretti, servizio un po lungo e non proprio preciso nelle info sono le uniche pecche organizzative. Il cibo è ottimo e mette tutti d'accordo suo giudizi. Da fastidio il costo del coperto eccessivo a 2,50 € per una trattoria con tovaglietta e tovagliolo entrambi di carta.

Sehr netter Kellner, er nahm sich Zeit die verschiedenen Gerichte zu erklären. Sehr gutes Essen und toller Hauswein.

Tolles toskanisches Restaurant mit leckeren Gerichten. Die Speisekarte ist nur auf italienisch vorhanden. Da der Handyempfang eher schlecht ist, sollte man daher ein Wörterbuch dabei haben. Die Bedienung spricht aber Englisch.

Bar Citta' di Fiesole

19/12/2024: Delicious sandwiches and donuts, served with coffee, sweets, sweets and toys. Everything in one small shop!
27/07/2024: A week ago I arrived in Fiesole, well in advance of the B&B check-in; the heat doesn't allow us to stay outside, lunch time has passed... the bags, the tiredness of the journey, I shyly approach the tobacconist, aware that bivouacking there for 90 minutes to eat a stuffed focaccia + coffee is really very 'Genoese' ! Yet the welcome was as polite and helpful as with the -obvious- regulars: this is the Italy that I always hope to encounter when I travel, whether for work or on holiday; these are the little episodes that make you hope for the shreds of human empathy that here and there still resist.
