Frangente In Milano

We went to dinner at this restaurant partly because of the good reviews we'd read online, and our expectations were very high. Unfortunately, we found the place extremely noisy; it was hard to talk. The waiters, all young, were friendly, but the service was quite mediocre and confusing (e.g., it took a long time to get the menus and only a minute to choose; they swapped the plates between me and my companion, and consequently the cutlery; during the wine tasting, the waiter held the bottle with the label hidden). The food was good, but nothing exceptional. In short, I think the price paid (€84 for two for a shared appetizer, two first courses, two glasses of wine, and a bottle of water) was excessive for the service provided.

It almost bothers me to say it for fear that everyone will go there. Phenomenal place: top-quality dishes. Excellent service, extremely kind and helpful. International location, it doesn't feel like Milan. Everything is truly wonderful, the food is truly delicious. In short, it's worth it!!! We'll be back!

A very commendable experience. The wines are superb and the service is very friendly. At the conclusion of the first two courses (pasta and veal) this place was deserving of six stars. The dessert was not to the same standard (crème brûlée was still frozen and no taste notes of the promised liquorice) but given everything else it still easily warrants five stars. Definitely make a reservation as many groups were turned away as the restaurant was full for lunch on Saturday.

Fantastic dining experience! The food was amazing and I love the creativity and ideas for turning traditional Milanese dishes into surprises ❤️ The staffs are friendly and welcoming, it feels really relaxing for dining here. Choosing the sits in front of the kitchen was one of the best part of our experience, cause I really enjoyed seeing the process and how they treat each dish seriously. We truly enjoyed our time there and highly recommend if you also like some great quality of food and nice vibe ✨

The Milanese veal is unbeatable. The service and the setting are excellent.

The dishes are decidedly well-crafted. An explosion of flavors with original pairings. Fish and meat, but also vegan options.

Had the best lunch in Milan. The chef went above and beyond and split the dishes as we wanted to share everything: the sweetbreads, the squid, the pasta seafood ragu and the duck ravioli. I can’t pick one that stood out as they were all fantastic. The flavors and unique combinations were outstanding!! Don’t miss this little place if you are in the area!!
