We stayed on a quiet evening in early January. The staff was very friendly and helpful and got all the wines they suggested right.
The fassona steak, the veal with tuna sauce and the plin are truly excellent. The veal cheek and the sliced breaded breaded with corn are also good although slightly lacking in salt. Excellent price. Overall a great experience. I would happily stay here again.

Dishes prepared with great care, even in impeccable presentation. Special mention for plin, batted and vitello with tuna sauce. Very courteous and prepared service. Fair prices. Their wines are also very interesting. Very recommended!

We went there on a Sunday to have a family lunch, we had 4 traditional menus with wine pairing, (I'll start by saying that we already know the winery well) they introduced us to good wines.
Thanks to all the staff in particular to Gabriele (young but REALLY knowledgeable about wine) for the magnificent experience

Se cercate un posto tipico nelle Langhe dove poter fare il tour di una cantina, assaporare , degustare ed acquistare dell’ottimo vino e del buon cibo, Salvano Vini a Diano d’Alba è il posto giusto.
Conosciamo questa azienda vinicola con bistrot annesso da tempo, su consiglio famigliare.
Abbiamo fatto il tour guidato della cantina, dove ci è stato spiegato tutto il processo di produzione dei vini, con un aperitivo alla conclusione. In seguito ci siamo spostati nel ristorante/bistrot al piano di sopra dove hanno servito un menu degustazione accompagnato da vini di loro produzione.
Ottimi i vini, ottimo il cibo e la qualità delle materie prime, adeguato il conto.
L’unica nota negativa che non ci ha fatto dare il massimo dei voti sono stati i tempi di attesa e di durata del pranzo, troppo eccessivi.
Al termine della giornata abbiamo avuto il piacere di acquistare qualche bottiglia di vino .

What a fantastic evening at Fosco Bistrot! This bistro is much more than just a restaurant: it is a place where tradition and creativity meet to give customers a unique gastronomic experience. The menu is varied and refined, with dishes that reflect both the attention to the quality of the ingredients and the passion of the chef.
Every dish, from the first course to the last, was delicious and full of flavour. The wines, expertly proposed by the staff, perfectly complemented each course. And then, the staff: kind, welcoming and always ready to make you feel at home.
Bistrot is the ideal place for a special dinner or lunch with friends. I will definitely return and recommend it to those looking for a warm atmosphere and excellent cuisine!

It was an extraordinary discovery! From the welcoming atmosphere to the impeccable service, every detail is taken care of with love and professionalism. The menu is a true celebration of local and international flavours, with creative dishes and the freshest ingredients.
Every course was perfect: from the intense flavors to the artistic presentations, you can see the chef's passion in every dish. The staff is attentive and helpful, ready to recommend the ideal wine to pair with to enhance every bite. Even the desserts are a true work of art!
I highly recommend Fosco Bistrot to anyone looking for a high-end, unforgettable gastronomic experience. A place I would definitely return to!

I went to Fosco Bistrot,
Welcomed with a coffee and chocolates to follow
I took part in the guided tour of the cellar, with a girl who guided us and described the winemaking and bottling process.
For lunch I opted for the Traditional Menu, with paired wines per course.
Excellent food. The paired wines are very good.
The veal cheek braised in Barolo and also the fassona steak breaded in corn are delicious!
Professional service, polite and friendly staff.
