Fortezza In Radicofani

Ghino di Tacco would be proud. We left Rome when it was 40 degrees in Radicofani 28. We were cold on the fortress tower. Paul is a perfect restaurateur. Excellent food: wild boar ragout, panzanella peposo. And indecently good grilled meat. It's worth the 2-hour drive. They were good and beautiful, actually, absolutely beautiful. At the next table, they ate the whole menu...we, jealous, should have had two stomachs. We'll be back, organized. ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

Beautiful setting at the base of the Radicofani Fortress. Very friendly staff and fair prices.

It's a very special place. The castle ruins in the background. Butterflies on the blooming lavender. Friendly people. Honest food. That's Italy.

The meat gnocchi and tomato ravioli were very good. Friendly staff.

Good Tuscan cuisine, service that is certainly not excellent, especially when the restaurant is crowded, but the location on the Radicofani fortress, the exceptional view of the Tuscan valleys and the cordial and sincere atmosphere make it worth stopping if you pass by these parts.

Great, delicious restaurant with fantastic tiramisu!

A true experience – the restaurant is beautifully situated on the summit of an extinct volcano with incredible views stretching from Siena to Rome. The cuisine is authentic, and the hosts put their heart and soul into their work. Handmade pasta, excellent grilled sausage, and the best tiramisu I've ever tasted! The food alone is worth the visit! Happy birthday, thank you again!

Piccola struttura posta ai piedi della Rocca di Radicofani. In tutto credo una cinquantina di posti all'interno ed altrettanti all'esterno ma, apriti cielo, un locale veramente speciale. Personale competente e disponibile, puntuale fino all'eccesso, gestisce il punto di ristorazione con risultati eccezionali. Non avrei assegnato 5 stelle se non fosse stato così: pietanze locali caratteristiche come pici in tutte le salse, grigliate miste e, mi sento di consigliare il loro galletto alla brace, veramente notevole. E poi, che dire del panorama splendido a valle oltre alla presenza, veramente ingombrante, della nostra fortezza..... Un' accoppiata vincente !!! Lo consiglio senza riserve.
