FORTE - Terra, sole, passione In Roma

"How cute is this place!" A stone's throw from home, I had the pleasure of discovering Forte, making me feel at home even 500 km away. A super welcoming shop-restaurant with a design that can be found in the owner's smile, ready to amaze you with the best products that Calabria has to offer. The dishes tasted by me and my cousin were the spaghetti with bergamot, the platter of Calabrian black pig, the bruschetta with onion pâté and the vrasciale, all accompanied by two delicious glasses of wine. To top it all off, there was also the kindness of the waiters. These are the places that are good for the heart. Highly recommended!

Amazing evenings. We spent two evenings in this restaurant and it was great. Food was so good that we did not want to leave. Wine was just addictive. Gaia made our evening a remarkable experience and she was a great host. By all means I recommend this place if you are looking for a place to spend a great evening.

Excellent quality and many Calabrian specialties. Good wholemeal pizza. Small place but very welcoming guys. Parking is problematic.

Excellent typical products, all using ancient grains

The place is very welcoming and with all the products on display (for sale) you can immediately breathe the air of Calabria and the South. The service was impeccable and the staff was very kind and welcoming... it felt like a regular customer even though it was the first time I had gone there... they made me feel at home! The food was excellent, plentiful and of high quality...the parmigggiana made with Sila provola cheese was out of this world...I even ate it cold the next day and it was mouth-watering. The bill is excellent compared to the quality and quantity of the dishes...absolutely highly recommended...but as a trusted place. I will be back as soon as possible Thank you to the employer and staff!!

I am Calabrian and I wanted to experience Calabria on Roman soil. The welcome is very familiar, the location is a bit small, but we still managed to feel comfortable. The food is very good. I didn't give 5 stars only because I'm very critical of the pickles which didn't drive me crazy and also because in my opinion they lack the typical things of our land. The parmigiana is wonderful, like the first fileja with Calabrian pesto and then finishing with the lacy truffle that makes you decide to come back.

A true Calabrian discovery a few steps from Tiburtina station. Excellent quality/price. Friendly staff, the waiter very nice and helpful.
