Forte 74 In Bibbona

I went to Forte 74, a family-run restaurant in Marina di Bibbona, and we were thrilled with the experience. The place is welcoming and well set up, with evident attention to detail: from the elegantly arranged tablecloths to the fireplace that warms the atmosphere on the coldest evenings, on winter evenings, everything contributes to creating an intimate and pleasant environment. The service was excellent, with particular attention to customers. The owner himself stopped by our table several times to make sure everything was going well, demonstrating truly appreciable dedication and friendliness. It is clear that hospitality is a fundamental value here, and we felt pampered throughout the evening. The menu is a journey through genuine and refined flavours. Each dish inspired confidence, but I decided to focus on the house's flagship: the vermicelli with clams and pistachio cream. What can I say, a sensational dish: the cooking of the pasta was perfect, the cream was enveloping, and the clams were very fresh. A balance of flavors that made every bite a discovery. My parents opted for the seafood risotto and were equally satisfied. Each grain was well creamed, with the flavor of the sea emerging decisively but harmoniously. For the second courses, we chose the Tiziana-style octopus in prison, a particular preparation that made the octopus incredibly tender, so much so that it melted in the mouth. No additional seasoning was needed: the preparation brought out the freshness of the product to the maximum. We also ordered a fried seafood: light, crunchy and perfectly dry, a sign of fresh oil. It all ended with a homemade tiramisu: creamy, balanced and prepared with evident skill, a perfect ending to the dinner.

Superlative, too bad it's not near my house otherwise I would go there very often, fantastic and fresh fish cooked with passion and love, what more can I say?

Super fine food, the Polpo was top. Staff was friendly too. Went there spontaneously and were served nicely.

Here you will find smiles, friendliness and professionalism among all the staff, and that bit of good humor that cannot be found today in those who work in the restaurant industry. The lights are dim but what they present on your plates can be seen and above all heard very well. Those who know and love fish-based cuisine will immediately notice from the aromas and colors that here there is love for the quality of the ingredients, the search for balanced combinations and the imagination in creating an always varied and intriguing menu. The desserts are then the final gem, without forgetting the wine list capable of satisfying every type of diner, from the least demanding to the most expert and refined in the field. Chef Tiziana and Selene carefully follow the preparation of the food in the kitchen, while Andrea is happy to illustrate the menu and advise you on the best pairing with the wines. He is the creator who researches and finds the top quality ingredients which, together with everything else, make Forte 74 a restaurant worth visiting. The relationship between quality and price of the menu is also notable, as demonstrated by the reviews and attendance at the restaurant.

I confirm that in this place you eat very well, the service is fast and courteous, prices are normal, dishes are prepared with generous portions. One of the best in Marina di Bibbona

I wanted an evening based on fish: I ordered scialatielli with seafood and a mixed grill of fish and shellfish and, for dessert, a magnificent decomposed cannoli: too bad it didn't last long 😅. Everything was excellent. Polite and fast waiters. The only thing, I recommend booking, to avoid not finding a place. Until next time!

Historic restaurant in the marina of Bibbona in the fort area. Nice location, kind owner, we also met Mrs. Tiziana, creator of the octopus in prison. Tried it and I have to say very good. The seafood crudités were also not bad. It has a terrace with tables also outdoors, excellent for a romantic dinner but also with friends or family, slightly high prices.

It's not a holiday without Forte 74!! The dishes are refined in appearance and quality. Any course is excellent. The owners make you feel at home, quick service!!

Excellent restaurant if you want to eat good fish. Always prepared dishes, good choice of wines and courtesy of the staff. Prices appropriate to the quality and service offered. Advised.
